The Levenhuk Blitz 203 PLUS telescope is a powerful, high-aperture optical instrument for observing space and astrophotography. It is designed for the ambitious beginner who wants to explore all of the secrets of the universe. The telescope renders a great image of nebulae and star clusters as well as allows you to view the planets of the solar system and their satellites. As a lunar filter is included, it is also ideal for Moon observations.
The telescope uses a Newtonian reflector design, it features a spherical primary mirror. Due to the short focal length, the optics deliver a crisp and bright field of view. High aperture allows you to use the telescope for astrophotography. The lenses are made of optical glass with an anti-reflective coating. All of this ensures the transmission of a clear and crisp image.

EQ-3 mount
This parallactic mount allows you to accurately aligning the optics to the Pole Star. The correct polar height and geographical latitude can be set for any observation location. The slow motion controls for the RA and DEC axes allow objects to be adjusted precisely, tracked and held in the field of view. A counterweight provides exact counterbalancing of the optics.
The EQ-3 mount provides a solid base for most small to medium size optics and is excellent for fascinating excursions through the night sky. Drive motors are available for automatically guiding the EQ-3 mount, which also allows any first attempts at astrophotography. The tripod is extendable, an accessory tray provides a place for eyepieces and other accessories.
