Fox aims to give a ground-hugging, ultra-plush sensation, prioritizing traction and performance over everything. The linear initial stroke and progressive ramp efficiently uses all of your rear wheel travel, and the progressive bottom-out bumper paired with volume spacers create a comfortable and controlled bottom-out event. 

For 2026, Fox has completely redesigned the Float X2 with a monotube design, and a completely revised main piston with a larger base valve and more individual valves. With a lower friction air seal package and most tunable air spring seen in a Float X2, riders can expect the highest performance air shock Fox has ever produced.
