Acclaimed educator Deborah Meier offers a fresh take on standardized tests. While others have criticized standards and what they measure, Meier rejects the very idea of a centralized authority that dictates how and what teachers teach. Standardization, she argues, prevents citizens-including teachers-from emerging as thoughtful, responsible adults, seriously engaged with shaping their own schools, classrooms, and communities. As a result, young people can't learn from them how to be thoughtful, responsible adults and good citizens, the primary goal of public education in a democracy.

Very dangerous metal shavings!!!
Negative stars if I could.
This is a very dangerous product. It worked well for a while. But then it quit effectively removing the lid instead I got little tiny shavings of metal around the edge. These shavings of metal go into the food and very dangerous.
So this was a waste of money and incredibly dangerous. I am throwing it in the trash today.

Practical and easy to use
This electric can opener performs its function well and gets the job done effortlessly. With just the press of a button, it opens cans quickly and smoothly—which is very useful, especially if you prefer not to exert physical force. The design is comfortable to handle and does not take up much space in the kitchen. The battery life is good, and it recharges without any issues. Overall, it is a functional product that makes an everyday chore much easier.

Ive broken so many manual can openers from sheer strength and this eliminates that issue not only because it no longer needs my input but because this device actually works! Would definitely recommend it. Usb c charging is a god send, no batteries!

Good product
Let me tell you just how much I love this can opener. I am 80 yrs old and the hand opener was becoming a real challenge to use, this is sooooooo easy, holds it's charge for a long time and the lids don't have any rough edges. Great product for an excellent price.
