Borla Cat-Back Exhaust System for DURANGO SRT '18- '20 6.2L V8 AT AWD; 4DR 2.75; S-TYPE; S RD RL AC BC SR TIP 4.5" RD X 10.00" BLACK CHROME. (140791BC)

Upgrading your factory exhaust system to a Borla stainless steel performance exhaust system with a more efficient and less restrictive design can improve sound (adding more enjoyment driving your vehicle) and increase engine horsepower and torque throughout the RPM range (allowing quicker acceleration to pass a vehicle or get to highway speeds quicker). Borla offers Axle Back exhaust systems, Cat back exhaust systems, and for select Competition-Use-Only vehicles, we offer long tube headers to replace your exhaust manifold for the best performance and sound.

The Borla "Cat Back" name implies the exhaust system is located behind the factory catalytic converter where there factory emissions remain untouched and vehicle stays emissions compliant. This remains distinct from the Axle Back exhaust system that is located behind the rear axle. Alex Borla coined the phrase 'Cat Back' and introduced the Cat Back performance exhaust in 1978, a bolt-on replacement performance exhaust system requiring no welding, thus being secured using the factory hanger locations.

Borla Cat Back exhaust systems use engine-specific (not universal) mufflers that are designed, tested, and optimized specifically for a particular year/make/model vehicle. Borla Cat Back systems increase the overall sound level & performance. Vehicles that don't have a factory service-point require "cutting" the factory exhaust system before installing a Borla Cat Back performance exhaust system. Borla includes instructions where to make this cut and includes the hardware to complete the installation. Many of today's modern vehicles have a factory service-point in the exhaust system (flange or slip-fit) located in the exhaust tubing behind the catalytic converter. A Borla Cat Back performance exhaust system replaces the factory exhaust system (behind this service-point) following the same exhaust path and secured using the original vehicle hangars and rubber isolators. Borla pioneered the automotive exhaust aftermarket in exhausts constructed in aircraft grade 304 stainless steel tubing, a material with higher content of carbon & nickel that won't rust or corrode.

The search for the perfect exhaust system for the Dodge Durango SRT is over. Borla gives you their take on how the Durango SRT should sound. These Cat-Back systems are developed with performance and sound in mind on the 392 HEMI engine. The S-Type sound level delivers the distinct Borla rumble and gives the Durango SRT the classic muscle sound without the drone. Each system is built from premium T-304 stainless steel and is mandrel bent to give you the absolute best in performance and durability. The 140791BC system features 4.5" round Black Chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips, but polished tips are also available. Using Borla Stainless Steel Polish p# 21461 is NOT recommended with these black chrome tips. We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. Borla exhaust systems are covered under our Million-Mile warranty with the following exceptions. Borla will warranty black coatings, tip finishes, and carbon fiber parts for one year.

2nd time is a charm
Size: 1 Quart, Style: 6-Pack, Configuration: Euro LX 0W-30
I purchased this for a DIY oil change on my wife's Infiniti QX30 (power train sourced from Mercedes). Doing it myself, I saved about $70 over the dealership's advertised synthetic oil change. I actually enjoy this type of maintenance work, and I get to pick the parts and fluids used. And I like Pennzoil synthetics better than several other domestic brands. However, the package as received showed that there was oil leaking from one or more bottles. Amazon had kept the oil in the original Pennzoil case, so Amazon was not to blame for the leakage. I immediately opened the case and cleaned and inspected each quart. Several had caps that were not on tight! I think that overall more than 1/8 of a quart had leaked. I'm glad I was home when the package was delivered, otherwise I would have had an oil stain on my front porch concrete floor. Now that would have really p...ed me off! So Pennzoil needs to better seal their quart bottles (QA issue?) and Amazon should check for this type of issue (it was obvious on the outer Amazon box) and not deliver when there are signs of leakage. Update - 8/11/23 Purchased a second time for my annual oil change on the QX30. This time the case was delivered without leakage. Buying from Amazon is a big time saver, as the Euro LX 0W30 is difficult to find at retail.

Best oil choice for exotics that take this blend
Size: 1 Quart, Style: 6-Pack, Configuration: Euro LX 0W-30
This is the closest thing to Mopar oil specifically made for exotics. I use it in my Alfa Romeo when I can't find Mopar for a decent price. 8000+ miles before an oil change is required

This is very hard to find item.
Size: 1 Quart, Style: 6-Pack, Configuration: Euro LX 0W-30
This is one of the lowest VOC oils. Important if your vehicle is GDI. Should help keep valves cleaner.

Went with a 30 weight because of ambient temperatures
Size: 1 Quart, Style: 6-Pack, Configuration: Euro LX 0W-30
Running this in my wife's 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. We live in Arizona and 100+ temps is normal thing. Did a lot of research on this before I decided on running a 30 weight, technically a 40 weight is recommended for our temperature. I noticed that her car was rattling on startup and was worse when it was a hot start. After switching to a 0w-30 I noticed the noise was substantially less. Fuel mileage was not changed she's still averaging 32mpg with her manual transmission vehicle. I've done my research and yes I know about staying with the factory recommended weight but we don't see subzero temperature and we are definitely not seeing the the average 80f summers. 40Fwinters and 105F summers are the norm here. Yes ambient temps effect oil decisions. I also prefer Euro Spec oils over SAE because of Europes extended drain intervals of 10-12k miles. I change every 5k or 6 months.
