　　凱特‧狄卡密歐（Kate DiCamillo）是《紐約時報》暢銷書作家。她原先並沒想到為兒童寫作，直到她在一家書店的童書部上班，看到許多非常好的兒童書籍，深受感動，才決心朝這個方向努力。

　　她創作過許多暢銷童書，《傻狗溫迪客》是她的兒童小說處女作，出版後即獲得紐伯瑞銀牌獎，並擠身紐約時報暢銷書榜。沒想到隔年她的第二本兒童小說《虎躍》又獲得美國國家圖書青少年文學銀牌獎。之後，她又連續創作了多部得獎好書，其中包括兩部紐伯瑞文學金牌獎作品《雙鼠記》和《會寫詩的神奇小松鼠》，以及很受歡迎的《愛德華的神奇旅行》、《魔術師的大象》等等。

　　除了創作兒童小說，她還創作了一本繪本《無比喜悅》(Great Joy)以及三套橋梁書《梅西‧華森》(Mercy Watson)、《得卡烏路的故事》(Tales from Deckawoo Drive)以及《賓克與高利》(Bink & Gollie)系列(低年級兒童小小說)。其中《賓克與高利》還獲得了專門獎勵幼兒童書的蘇斯博士獎(Theodor Seuss Geisel Award)。

　　凱特筆下的人物顯得十分真實。她說，她並沒有塑造這些人物，而是專心聆聽這些人對她說什麼，然後把他們想說的東西轉述出來。她不喜歡刻意介入或扭轉故事的發展，也不特意挑選故事的題材或背景，一切都是自然而然流露出來的。

    2014~2015年期間，美國國家圖書館聘請凱特‧狄卡密歐擔任國家青少年文學大使。她接受了這個任務，並談及故事的力量：「當我們一起讀一個故事時，我們便相連起來，一起看見世界，一起看見彼此。」

　　凱特‧狄卡密歐現居明尼蘇達州的明尼亞波利市。她仍然如聞名前一般，忠實的每天寫作兩頁，每星期寫五天。

朱莉・莫斯黛（Julie Morstad）

　　屢獲殊榮的插畫家和藝術家，繪本作品大多以孩子為主要角色。繪畫以簡潔的筆觸與清新的風格為主，獨特的色彩風格及人物姿態的描繪，展現不同魅力及生命力。主要繪本作品有：《天鵝－安娜．帕芙洛娃的舞蹈人生》（維京國際）《我喜歡這樣的一天》(小天下)、House of Dreams: The Life of L. M. Montgomary、When Green Becomes Tomatoes、等。目前與家人定居於加拿大溫哥華。

These are definitely indestructible

Both of my dogs can destroy a ball in a matter of minutes if I let them play with them (supervised) as is. Well not with these balls. They are the ONLY ones I have found that are 100% indestructible. Please only let your dogs play with these as a toy when supervised though. They go really far when throwing them, so both dogs get a good amount of running and exercise with these. I also bought these because they have the hole in the middle of the ball which is very important in the event that a dog gets one stuck at the back of their throat. This allows them to breath unlike those without this hold. It's an unlikely event, but as dog owners, we all need to be aware of this and educate ourselves on what to do if this SHOULD happen. This isn't a scare tactic, nor a reflection of this particular brand, it can happen with any type of ball. My two dogs are about 45ish lbs and the size is perfect for them, I don't want anything smaller than this. They love them. There is no annoying squeak. Really easy to wash after use. Some balls take forever to get the slimy saliva off, but these don't.
