Designed for demanding network environments, the Eaton Tripp Lite Series High-Density Panel Fiber Splice Enclosure delivers unparalleled flexibility and scalability for modern data centers, telecom facilities, and enterprise networks. This advanced enclosure is engineered to maximize fiber management efficiency, enabling on-site adjustments to cable lengths and connection types without sacrificing performance or reliability. With 12 splicing cassettes, each pre-loaded with 24 unterminated cables, you gain the freedom to adapt fiber routes, reconfigure connections, and optimize bandwidth allocation as your infrastructure evolves. The compact 2U rack footprint consolidates a large fiber footprint into a single, organized enclosure, reducing space requirements while improving cable path clarity, testing access, and serviceability. Whether you’re expanding a campus backbone or upgrading a data center spine, this high-density panel splicing enclosure supports fast deployment, precise termination, and long-term reliability in a single, scalable solution.

  • On-site flexibility with 12 cassettes and 24 unterminated cables per cassette: This enclosure enables on-site adjustment of cable lengths and connection types to precisely fit your infrastructure needs. By pre-loading each cassette with unterminated cables, technicians can tailor terminations and splice configurations in the field, reducing lead times and eliminating the need for excessive pre-termination work. The result is faster deployment, streamlined changes, and a more adaptable network backbone that can evolve with your business.
  • Exceptional fiber density in a compact 2U rack footprint: Featuring 12 splicing cassettes and a total capacity of 288 LC/APC single-mode connections, this panel maximizes fiber management in a small space. The dense design minimizes cable clutter, simplifies airflow management, and delivers clean routing for critical links. The LC/APC connections provide low insertion loss and high return loss performance, helping you maintain signal integrity across your fiber plant.
  • 1.5 m pre-sized pigtails for efficient routing and terminations: Each enclosure ships with 1.5-meter pigtails, giving technicians ample length to route connections to active equipment, splice trays, or patch panels inside the rack. The 0.9 mm fiber jacket supports easy routing through cable channels, with LC/APC connectors delivering polished ends for precise, repeatable terminations and stable, low-loss performance.

How to install Eaton Tripp Lite Series High-Density Panel Fiber Splice Enclosure

Installing this high-density fiber splice enclosure is a straightforward process designed to minimize downtime and maximize reliability. Follow these best-practice steps to ensure a clean, efficient, and scalable fiber installation.

1) Plan and document your fiber routes. Identify incoming and outgoing fiber paths, label cables, and map where each cassette will connect within the 2U rack. A clear plan reduces on-site handling time and helps prevent misrouting during termination. Consider environmental factors in the rack area, including airflow and cable management space for future growth.

2) Prepare the rack space. Ensure your cabinet or rack has sufficient clearance for the 2U enclosure, and verify that mounting rails are in good condition. Prepare cable entry points and create orderly channels for pigtails and patch cords to avoid tangling or unnecessary bending radii.

3) Mount the enclosure in the rack. Align the enclosure with standard 19" rack rails and secure it firmly using the provided hardware. Confirm that the unit is level and stable before proceeding to wiring and termination. A secure mount reduces the risk of cable strain and ensures dependable connections over time.

4) Access and inspect the cassettes. Remove any protective covers and inspect the 12 splicing cassettes. Verify that each cassette includes the standard 24 unterminated cables and that the LC/APC connectors are properly aligned for easy termination. If needed, organize the cassette order to align with your planned fiber routing.

5) Route and terminate pigtails. Begin with primary trunk fibers and route them through their designated pathways inside the enclosure. Use the 1.5-meter pigtails to connect each LC/APC pair at the cassette end, performing field terminations or splice closures as required by your network design. Employ fusion or mechanical splicing per your project standards, and ensure each termination exhibits clean, smooth joints with minimal bend radius to preserve signal integrity.

6) Label, test, and document. After termination, label each fiber path clearly and perform a trace to verify continuity and loss targets. Use an OTDR, visual fault locator, or power meter to confirm split ratios, insertion loss, and connector quality. Document as-built cable routes, cassette mappings, and any field-adjusted lengths to support future maintenance and upgrades.

7) Finish and secure. Reinstall any dust covers and ensure all cables are neatly fastened with cable ties or management channels. Confirm that the enclosure doors close securely and that there is adequate clearance for heat dissipation. With the system in place, implement a routine maintenance plan to inspect fiber paths, verify terminations, and update documentation as your network evolves.

This installation workflow helps you maximize performance from day one while maintaining a scalable platform for future expansion. The Eaton Tripp Lite High-Density Panel Fiber Splice Enclosure provides a robust foundation for high-capacity fiber networks, delivering reliable, organized, and easily maintainable fiber management in a compact form factor.

Absolutely gorgeous! Quality is excellent. I purchased three prior to this from different companies, and returned them. Finally came across this company and truly love the texture and look. This pelt is real sheepskin, NOT felt backing like some. The real deal.

Soft and comfortable. Quality leather nsckrd. Genuine sheepskin. No off odors. I'm skinny and not on tailbone. Hoping this helps. The grey tipped is more of a bluish gray. Pretty but not s true gray.

On the fence? This is the sheepskin to get!
Size: 2' x 3' (Natural), Color: Wolf Tipped
I've been reading all the reviews for sheepskins on AMZ and felt this company was the one to go for and WOW did they deliver! The sheepskin came well wrapped but not vacuum packed and is even prettier in person than the pictures. It is super soft, fluffy and dense and mine measured 26" x 40". I absolutely love the wolf tipped colors: ivory, dark grey and a slight brownish hue. There is a slight odor but I don't find it offensive. It stayed put on my leather couch and sitting on it during a Netflix movie was heavenly warm and comfortable. I did not observe any shedding. Will definitely buy another wolf tipped one, once it becomes available as it is worth the money.

Gorgeous 😍
Size: 2' x 6' (Natural), Color: Champagne, Size: 2' x 6' (Natural), Color: Champagne
Absolutely beautiful!!! It is thick and luxurious, super soft and cozy. It’s really high quality and it shows. You can tell it’s natural without the burn test even from its cute little curls. All brushed (your pet brush is perfect 😉) out it looks stunning and fluffy. I got the champagne color and I love it! I don’t see any seams on the double pelt and it is substantial, not at all like it will disintegrate in a few years, but rather will become a much loved family heirloom. Well worth the investment! It is absolutely heavenly to perform yoga on by the fire 😌I love taking my slippers off and feeling the soft fur. I don’t want to get off it lol. I understand all those other customer’s kids and cats 🤣😂🤣

This is the one you want...
Size: 2' x 6' (Natural), Color: Natural (Yellow Undertones), Size: 2' x 6' (Natural), Color: Natural (Yellow Undertones)
I bought a ‘Genuine Sheepskin Rug Double Pelt Natural White Fur 2x6’ from Amazon in 2011 for $112.49, and recently decided to recommission it in my new living room. It looked so nice that I decided to add a second rug, and was pleased to find what Amazon claimed to be the same rug still available for only $83.78. Now I’m not one of those silly folks who expects the color and/or size of a natural product like a sheepskin rug to be perfectly predictable, and my living room is large enough that I didn’t need the two rugs to match perfectly, but when the new rug arrived, I couldn’t have been more disappointed. It was about 40% smaller than my older rug, was way, way off from anything that could be called white, and looked cheap, old, and tattered. I tried to comb it out a bit to see if I could make it look presentable, but it was a lost cause. Amazon to the rescue. I returned the rug to Amazon for a full refund the next morning, and the transaction couldn’t have been simpler. And I immediately ordered the ‘Genuine Sheepskin Rug Double Pelt Natural White Fur 2x6’ shown on this page from Super Area Rugs for $119.00. What a difference! These rugs are large, plush, and super soft. The quality of these rugs is obvious, much, much nicer that either my old sheepskin rug or the ‘bargain’ rug I returned to Amazon. I was so impressed with the quality of this rug that I immediately ordered a second, which arrived this morning (it matches the other rug perfectly). My older sheepskin has been reassigned to another room because, well, it’s not in the same league as my two new rugs, which look terrific together. As is so often the case, you get what you pay for. So if you’re looking for a top quality sheepskin rug, this is the one you want.
