The steel, low-profile adjustable frame and steel-wire cable make it both unobtrusive and durable, while the updated headband and neckband have been improved to offer a more comfortable fit.
The HS 2 uses an MKE 2 capsule, which features a wide, flat frequency response and omnidirectional polar pattern, helping to ensure consistent levels; the moisture-resistant capsule has also been improved to reduce interference when used with wireless transmitters. The microphone is available with various connectors to suit different applications; this version uses a locking 3.5mm connector common to Sennheiser EW G Series transmitters and other compatible transmitters and equipment.
