This stunning one-of-a-kind necklace features a stromatolite cabochon pendant surrounded by yellow tiger's eye beads, pyrite and bone bead accents, and 8mm shungite beads continuing all the way around the necklace.
The pendant was handmade by South American-born artist Ezrah Bartone using locally sourced stones and metals.
The wire he used to wrap the stromatolite cab is German nickel silver. The pendant is wrapped with decorative silver swirls extending out from the bottom!
The necklace closes with a brass lobster clasp and infinity charm.
Stromatolites are among the world's oldest fossils - some more than 3.5 billion years old!
Stromatolites are structures formed by huge colonies of cyanobacteria (aka blue green algae), which directly contributed to the formation of the Earth's atmosphere.
