You don't see much jewelry made from elite shungite due to its rarity AND fragility. This hand selected elite shungite nugget was sent to an artist in Germany who uses the ancient art of lost wax casting to create this stunning, long lasting custom silver setting.
Just as no two elite nuggets are alike, no two pendants are alike because she follows each stone's individual contours, resulting in a beautiful, elegant and organic design.
The setting is pure sterling silver, and then in a final step it receives fine silver plating (999) for extra brilliance as well as tarnish protection.
The result is a flowing silver design that looks like molten silver that's been poured over the stone.
