The Hale Pet Door Cover Replacement is made with King Starboard polymer sheet. The Lexan locking covers are no longer available, but the best seller material, King Starboard, in comparison to plastic pet door covers or aluminum pet doors covers, is extremely shock and impact-resistant, and very energy efficient, especially for extreme weather. Instead of having to use a combination lock, you can purchase a wall unit pin lock if you need one, to ensure the security of your smart home.

Please note that these high customer rating dog door covers are not interchangeable with any other brand of pet doors, door flaps, or other related products.
