The modern workplace runs on reliable, high-capacity wireless connectivity. Whether you’re supporting a hybrid office, a bustling retail space, or a campus-style environment, the HPE Instant On AP21 is engineered to keep devices, applications, and users seamlessly connected. This indoor, dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) access point brings enterprise-grade performance into a compact form factor, enabling faster video calls, smooth collaboration, and responsive cloud apps even in high‑density environments. Built with the evolving needs of small and mid-size businesses in mind, the AP21 combines high throughput, efficient spectrum use, and straightforward management to simplify deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization. With easy cloud-based management, zero-touch provisioning, and robust security, it’s designed to grow with your network as you add devices, users, and services over time.

  • The AP21 delivers Wi‑Fi 6 performance (IEEE 802.11ax) that enhances efficiency in environments with many connected devices. Features like OFDMA, MU‑MIMO, and target wake time help reduce contention and extend battery life for client devices, so more devices can connect with lower latency and higher reliability. This makes it ideal for modern offices, classrooms, and retail spaces where video conferencing, collaboration apps, and mobile devices are omnipresent.
  • Dual-band capability combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios to maximize spectrum efficiency and client compatibility. With a theoretical aggregate throughput up to 1.50 Gbps, the AP21 provides the bandwidth needed for multiple simultaneous applications—from high‑definition video calls to cloud-based workloads—while maintaining responsiveness even as the number of connected devices grows.
  • Cloud‑managed simplicity meets enterprise control. The AP21 is designed for Aruba Instant On management, enabling zero‑touch provisioning, remote monitoring, and straightforward configuration via the Aruba Instant On app or cloud portal. This reduces the time to deploy, simplifies ongoing management, and gives IT teams visibility into client performance, network health, and security posture from anywhere.
  • Robust security and guest access for modern networks. The AP21 supports contemporary security standards and access controls, including WPA3 and 802.1X authentication, guest networks, captive portal, and VLAN segmentation. These features help protect sensitive data, ensure safe access for visitors, and keep business networks shielded from unauthorized devices.
  • Flexible deployment and scalable growth. Designed for indoor installation, the AP21 can be ceiling- or wall-mounted to optimize coverage in offices, showrooms, or classrooms. It also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), simplifying cabling and reducing clutter. As your network expands, you can add more AP21 units to scale capacity without a complicated upgrade path.

Ancient Greece: the progenitor for modern day civilization
Format: Kindle
This enthralling text explores Ancient Greece from its Bronze age origins to its capitulation under the Roman Empire. Furthermore, it emphasizes the long-reaching impact this heterogeneous collection of city-states had on political, scientific, mathematical, philosophical, architectural, and military development. All of this was accomplished in spite of constantly shifting intra-regional conflict between Athens, Thrace and Sparta. Outside enemies like the Persian empire only complicated relations further. This sibling rivalry-of-sorts evolved when Alexander the Great's Macedonian empire conquered the Greek world and supplanted itself in the greco-persian conflict. While Macedonia's did embroil the internecine conflicts in the area they hellenized the regions they conquered, including: Persia,Egypt, and parts of India. However, when Alexander the Great died it left a power vacuum exploited by his men, the Romans, and the Ancient Greeks. This ultimately resulted in the Roman Empire. Ancient Greece set the stage for roman empire and while they were an autonomous union of city-states for much of their existence two things united them: their language and religion. These two cultural touchstones united these city-states as brothers, albeit with a love-hate relationship at times. This text explores the archaic, classic, and hellenic periods of Greek history in a fascinating and concise manner. It is a must-read.

Enlightening
Format: Paperback
I discovered a number of interesting things reading this book. I learned for example, that Sparta was indeed a warrior city, with men training to be soldiers from an early age and living in barracks, even when they were married. This and the death rate from fighting led to a low birth rate and their eventual demise. I also discovered that athletes in the original Olympics did indeed compete naked and that making a false start to a race was not a good idea, as people who did that were executed! I also learned that there were Greeks who believed the Earth was round and that it circled the sun, hundreds of years before Copernicus. I also discovered that the various Greek factions, (e.g. Athens, Sparta, Macedonia etc.) seemed to be constantly fighting one another). I knew that Alexander the Great built a massive empire but did not realize the extent of that empire until I read this tome. I also discovered that Aristotle was a student of Plato, who in turn was a student of Socrates Overall, it was a very enlightening read where I gathered all sorts of interesting facts

Bear Witness

This is an excellent read for anyone ignorant of the history of Slavery in the United States. It is this account that jolted the abolitionist movement that would later lead to the emancipation proclamation. It is a quick and powerful read of our shameful pass. But it is necessary for us to learn our pass to move forward.
