About Black Pearl Oyster
Black Pearl Oyster is a cross strain of Pearl Oyster and King Oyster - combining fast colonization with a dense, meaty texture and rich umami flavor. It produces impressive flushes and is a favorite among growers who want something beyond the standard oyster mushroom.
How to Use This Plate
Option 1 - Expand on agar: Transfer a wedge to a fresh MYA Agar Plate to multiply your culture or isolate sectors.
Option 2 - Create liquid culture: Use the plate to inoculate a liquid culture syringe for faster grain colonization at scale.
Option 3 - Inoculate grain spawn: Transfer directly to our Sterile Grain Bag with Injection Port to create your own grain spawn.
