Experience enterprise-class data protection with Veritas NetBackup Enterprise, enhanced by Verified Support and a government-friendly licensing framework. This On-Premise Subscription Conversion License is designed for agencies and contractors who require a reliable, scalable backup solution with a clear, predictable cost model. Featuring 1 Front End TB of capacity and a 1-year validation window, this package delivers the peace of mind that your critical workloads, assets, and sensitive information stay protected, compliant, and readily restorable whenever needed. Optimized through the Veritas Government Licensing Program (GLP), this offering aligns procurement with government buying practices, making it simpler to acquire robust backup software and the reassurance of continued protection over the license term.

  • End-to-end data protection for diverse environments.

Veritas NetBackup Enterprise is engineered to safeguard data across physical, virtual, and cloud footprints. With policy-driven backups, automated scheduling, and centralized visibility, organizations gain a unified view of all backup activity in one place. The solution supports multiple operating systems and storage targets, enabling you to protect on-premises workloads, virtual machines, databases, and file services from a single, scalable platform. The 1 Front End TB capacity ensures you have a defined, predictable foundation for your core backup workload, so teams can plan capacity, compliance, and recovery objectives with confidence.

  • Single-pane management, automation, and accelerated recovery.

NetBackup Enterprise provides centralized orchestration that streamlines backup policies, retention rules, and recovery workflows. With automation, administrators can reduce manual tasks, minimize human error, and accelerate recovery times for critical applications. The on-premise deployment model tightens control over data while maintaining flexibility to scale as your environment grows. Rapid recoveries—from file-level restores to complete system recoveries—help ensure business continuity, even in the face of ransomware, hardware failures, or site outages.

  • Flexible licensing with a reliable subscription conversion path.

The On-Premise Subscription Conversion License gives you a clear path to adopt NetBackup Enterprise without large upfront perpetual investments. The license is designed to convert existing subscription-based or capacity-based arrangements into a stable, year-long term for on-prem deployments. With 1 Front End TB included, you can protect a substantial portion of your data estate while maintaining predictable budgeting and licensing governance. This model is particularly advantageous for government customers who prioritize procurement discipline, lifecycle management, and ongoing value from their software investments.

  • Security, compliance, and verified support you can rely on.

Verified Support adds a layer of assurance through timely updates, patches, and best-practice guidance from Veritas experts. The GLP framework strengthens procurement alignment with government requirements, helping agencies meet compliance and governance standards. The combination of enterprise-grade protection and formal support reduces the risk of exposure to security vulnerabilities, data loss, and downtime. Regular validation ensures that protections remain effective as your environment evolves, so your backups stay recoverable and trustworthy year after year.

  • Ideal for government organizations seeking reliable protection with predictable costs.

Designed with public sector needs in mind, this offering leverages Veritas GLP pricing to align with how government entities acquire software licenses and cloud services. The 1-year term keeps licensing cycles straightforward, while the on-premise deployment model provides control over data sovereignty and performance. Agencies can rely on steady protection for mission-critical workloads, with access to expert support, regular validations, and a proven track record of uptime and data integrity—qualities that matter when safeguarding citizen data and critical infrastructure.

how to install Veritas NetBackup Enterprise + Verified Support — On-premise Subscription Conversion License — 1 Front End TB — 1 Year

Installing NetBackup Enterprise in an on-premise configuration involves planning, preparation, and a sequence of validated steps. The following guidance outlines a typical deployment workflow suitable for government institutions and other regulated environments. Always refer to the official NetBackup installation guides and your licensed support resources for specifics tailored to your hardware, OS, and storage infrastructure.

  • Step 1: Plan and prepare the environment.

Assess hardware capacity, supported operating systems, network topology, storage targets, and security requirements. Ensure that you have the necessary administrative credentials, licenses, and certificates in place. Define backup policies, retention periods, and recovery objectives that align with your organization’s compliance standards. Prepare a baseline inventory of servers, databases, and applications to be protected, and establish monitoring and alerting to track backup successes and failures.

  • Step 2: Install the NetBackup core components on a supported server.

Install the NetBackup Enterprise software on a designated master server or primary management host as recommended by Veritas. Configure essential services, such as the NetBackup Java Console and the administrator roles, so your team has secure access to policy management and reporting. Ensure that the installation follows your organization’s change-management processes and security baselines.

  • Step 3: Apply the On-premise Subscription Conversion License.

Activate the license to enable the 1 TB Front End capacity within your NetBackup deployment. Licensing steps may involve importing a license file or performing an online activation, depending on your environment and Veritas’ current licensing workflow. Verify that the license is recognized by the system and that the protected data sources reflect the intended capacity. This step is critical to ensure legal compliance and accurate capacity planning for your backup strategy.

  • Step 4: Configure storage, policies, and media management.

Attach and configure storage targets (disk storage, tape libraries, or cloud gateways as applicable). Create backup policies that specify data sources, backup windows, retention, and retry behavior. Define storage lifecycle rules, destination pools, and media servers as needed for scalability and performance. Establish test backups for representative workloads to validate policy behavior and ensure recoverability.

  • Step 5: Validate backups, restores, and ongoing operations.

Perform validation tests that cover a range of restore scenarios—from file-level restores to full-system recoveries. Check job logs, verify data integrity, and confirm that recovery times meet your objectives. Enable monitoring dashboards and alerting to detect failures early and respond promptly. Schedule periodic verification to maintain confidence in your protections over the course of the 1-year term.

Works well has plenty of pressure.
It is a great device, a bit awkward to use over a bowl sink, but with some minor adjustment of the nozzle, it works well. It appears to be as effective as most water picks and I like not having to fool with a hose, that can break.

Needed replacement, 2nd one works OK
The first one I received had a broken latching mechanism. Not a shipping issue, as the box was fine, it just wouldn't latch the attachments because the mechanism wouldn't come all the way out. After getting a replacement the 2nd one worked better. It has 3 settings for soft, normal, and pulse. For me, the normal put out the best force for clearing out bits. After washing with it for about 30 seconds though I still don't feel it cleans we well as real floss, or even a waterpik, but it does help after brushing. I will add it to my routine as it does help flush out some things, but it won't be replacing my flossing. It is sort of portable, in that can be packed away and holds a charge, but it's still pretty large and takes up a good amount of space in a toiletry bag. It's not bad, but not really outstanding either.

I like this better than my name brand unit
🔵 Features: The water pick boasts a generously sized reservoir, which is a standout feature. It also comes with a convenient USB charger, offers 3 speed settings (normal, soft, and pulse), and features quick and easy detachable heads. 🔵 Power: In terms of power, comparing it to my current unit revealed no noticeable differences in pressure or volume to the naked eye. Both units effortlessly deliver a stream of water up to 12 feet. 🔵 Heads: The water pick includes a plethora of heads, more than most people would likely need. Personally, I would have preferred a lifetime supply of the simple angled head picks, but the variety provided caters to all preferences. 🔵 Overall: After using it for a few days, I found that it performs admirably. When placed side by side with my old unit, I consistently reach for the 7AM2M unit, primarily due to its larger reservoir. In all other aspects, I find them comparable, and I wholeheartedly recommend this water pick to others.

Well designed portable water flosser that's holding up so far
There are a number of such portable water flossers on Amazon, but this is one of the better ones IMO. The water pressure is adequate, with enough settings to allow you to ramp up (or keep using on a lower setting if desired). One nice feature is that the tank detaches easily and this makes filling under a tap easier than other units which don't have an easily detached tank. The tank shape is also a bit fatter so it's not too long along any one dimension. The tank capacity of 300 ml is adequate for a single use. The standard suite of flosser heads are included - flossing itself, peridontal, and one for braces. The tongue cleaner attachment is also there but I prefer to use a separate tongue cleaner tool. Charging is via USB-C and while the port isn't super water proof, there's no damage to the unit yet. Battery life is typical at about 20-30 days with twice a day usage.
