Inspired by his nephews, whose names are the artworks' titles Walter and Angus, playing on a trampoline, the British painter captures the sense of carefree movement and joy.

Each character has its own personality and story. While the flamingo, Rosie, is imagined as a graceful ballerina, moving with elegance and control, even as she bounces. Nigel sees the elephant, Walter, as a big, gentle creature enjoying the freedom of movement.

Rosie keeps her composure throughout, with every feather perfectly in place and her whimsical tiara untouched, adding a touch of charm and fantasy.
