Milwaukee MW401 PRO Low Range Total Dissolved Solids Meter
The MW401 is a Portable Low Range Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) Meter with Automatic Temperature Compensation. It has been designed for aquariums, aquaculture, labs, and water conditioning applications. It is also a great meter for food and water treatment applications.
TDS testing provides a method to optimize chemical applications and minimize operational cost. In aquarium and aquaculture applications, high concentrations of solids (TDS) can reduce clarity in water can decrease photosynthesis in aquatic plants. In water conditioning, a high TDS) level can affect the clarity and taste of potable drinking water.
The MW401 has a range of 0 to 1990 mg/L (ppm) with a 10 mg/L (ppm) resolution. This TDS meter is supplied complete with a conductivity probe, which has a 1 m (3.3') cable, as well as calibration solution.
