The watch
A clean and characterful piece from the golden age of Seiko quartz. This Seiko 7546-605A, often referred to as the SilverWave Z, dates back to the late 1970s and captures that perfect balance between tool watch and everyday elegance. The silver sunburst dial with linen texture plays beautifully with the light, giving it a subtle depth that shifts throughout the day. The screw-down crown gives it a special touch.

The rotating bezel and day-date complication add a practical edge, making it an easy daily wearer. It’s the kind of watch that feels just as right with a shirt as it does on a relaxed weekend.

The case is in excellent, unpolished condition. The mineral crystal is nearly perfect, with a tiny hairline scratch at 4 o’clock.

Powered by Seiko’s reliable 7546 quartz movement, it offers the convenience of grab-and-go wear with the build quality and design language that made this era so special.

Fitted on a clean, modern rubber strap that fits most wrist sizes.

Details
Seiko’s SilverWave line was introduced as a bridge between dress watches and professional dive watches, offering enhanced water resistance and sport-oriented features in a more refined, everyday format. Originally launched in the 1960s, the line evolved through the 1970s into quartz-powered models like this one, reflecting Seiko’s rapid advancement in electronic timekeeping during that period.

By the late 1970s, SilverWave models were typically equipped with Seiko’s in-house quartz calibers, such as the 7546. These movements are known for their durability, serviceability, and stable timekeeping, and were positioned as reliable daily-use alternatives to mechanical watches. Many SilverWave models from this era feature screw-down crowns and improved case construction, contributing to their water resistance, often rated around 100 meters.

Design-wise, the line is characterized by a balance of functionality and restraint. Rotating bezels, strong lume, and day-date complications provide practical utility, while cleaner dials and more compact case sizes keep the watches versatile and wearable across different settings.

The SilverWave line sits just below Seiko’s dedicated diver models in terms of specification, but above standard dress quartz pieces, making it a practical and well-built option for everyday wear with a subtle tool-watch edge.

Runs small
Size: 8.5, Color: Sandstorm
This shoe is super cute and comfy. I usually wear an 8 or an 8½. I ordered the 8½, but it was too small, so I had to send it back. I reordered a 9, and it fit perfectly.

Love love these
Size: 7, Color: Black
Totally love these. I found them to run a bit short. I ordered a 6 1/2 (my normal size) - had to return them for a 7. But I love them.

Nice Bags Lots of Colors
Color: Black, Size: Standard 15.6 Inch
This was a great carry on bag for me. The size is perfect and has lots of pockets. The material is very nice and durable and I got black but it is still a nice color black with many other colors to Choose from. I brought it to London and was very happy with its functionality. It does get a little heavy when lots of things are in it but I am not used to wearing a backpack. It does have a loop to slide onto your carrying on luggage handle as well.
