Its leaves are a dark green to chocolate brown with burgundy on the undersides and silver banding. It has an upright form reaching 20" 24" high and 12" 15" across while the Inflorescence is on a spike of dark red bracts with red and yellow branches. This bloom can last a very long time making it a popular indoor plant as well.
