The Trinity knot is the most well know Celtic knot. It is also called the Triquetra which is Latin for a three cornered shape. In the Christian faith, the three points of the Trinity knot represent the Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
The Trinity Knot also presents a resemblance to the Valknut which is a symbol associated with Odin. Odin was an admired God in Norse mythology.
In addition, the Trinity Knot meant many things to the Celts. This included the mind, body, spirit; earth, sea and sky and beginning, middle and end – continuity.
