The A&D BH-225DTE is a professional-grade analytical balance designed for laboratories that demand accurate, repeatable results without unnecessary complexity. The BH-225DTE offers additional features such as a 5-inch colour touchscreen, expanded connectivity, and a built-in external ionizer as standard.
Features
- Touchscreen Interface The BH-225DTE features a 5-inch WVGA TFT LCD colour touchscreen (resistive type) for intuitive operation, easy data entry, and settings changes. The resistive screen responds to pressure and can be used while wearing thick gloves. Four physical keys are also provided for quick access to frequently used functions. Display language can be set to English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Chinese, or Japanese.

- Automatic Self-Sensitivity Adjustment: The BH-225DTE uses an internal weight to automatically calibrate and adjust sensitivity based on temperature changes, preset times, or set intervals
- Breeze Break Design The enclosed breeze break features concentric-slotted weighing pan to minimise the effects of convection and air currents. All glass panels and the floor plate are fully removable via a clip system for easy, thorough cleaning
- Impact Shock Detection (ISD) An integrated sensor monitors impact loads on the weighing mechanism and rates their severity on a 0–4 scale, with audible alerts for high-impact events
- Connectivity The BH-225DTE includes RS-232C and USB-C interfaces for direct data transfer to a PC or printer, along with an external key input for an optional foot switch.
- GLP-Compliant Output Supports structured data output for Good Laboratory Practice documentation, with date/time stamping and configurable print formats.
- Counting Mode Built-in parts counting with automatic counting accuracy improvement (ACAI), supporting sample sizes of 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 pieces.
