Says Davis "We write together - they understand my life story and all I've been through." On Wishes & Wants the London diva gives everything, her vocals carrying scorned fury, heartfelt longing and joyous celebration. Her voice echoes the greats of soul music such as Marva Whitney - whom Davis has sung bvs for - and Gladys Knight, as well as contemporary artists such as Macy Gray and Sharon Jones - the latter a friend and mentor to Davis and a pivotal figure in her incredible tale. The album opens with the gritty, righteous funk of Wishes & Wants before moving into the red hot soul of 'Like Fire'. Davis channels her inner Winehouse on the aggrieved soul stomper 'Treat Me Better' before turning the tables on the male protaganist in the uptempo funky dancer 'Kisses' describing him as someone who is "ugly... but kisses so good!". On "Silverbacks theme" Davis let's the band do the talking on a rolling groove where organ, horns, guitar and drums battle it out whilst 'Nightlife' is a delciciously bumping slice of heavy Afro-funk and 'All about Music' is heavenly Southern Soul of the claibre Marva Whitney was famous for. With Wishes & Wants Davis and the Silverbacks keep the torch of funk and soul burning bright as they carve their names into the lineage of contemporary greats. "The new album benefits from our confidence, from our mutual respect and appreciation of each other as musicians and performers. I'm not going to get this sound from any other band in Europe" states Shirley. "This is the only thing I know how to do here, and this is what I believe I will do for the rest of my life. Precious Angel Garden Statue with 5 Birds!!!!!!!
This garden angel reminded me of an angel that my mother had in her garden. My mother and I both loved birds so when I saw the angel had five birds perched on her arms and head, I had to have it! The angel is so pretty and delicate with her arms raised into the air, yet it is made of resin to withstand the outside elements. The birds are in color, finished with protect coating. There is a blue, red, green and two yellow birds, and they are SOLAR so the birds light up at night!!!!! You do need to turn on the switch and place the angel in direct sunlight for 6-8 hours of charging before using. The birds will light up automatically at night for 8-10 hours since the light is automatically photosensitive. The angel is on the small side at right under 12” tall so I will put her in one of my flowerpots on the deck instead of out in the garden on the ground. I placed her outside in a pot, but I may keep her inside the house where I can see her all the time. As long as the angel gets light during the day, she will be charged to light up at night. The angel would make a great gift for any occasion!

moisturizing
I was curious about this product since I saw it very viral on tiktok recommended by an influencer (Nina Pool) so I bought it, since it is small, I said: if I don't like it at least I didn't spend a lot. The truth is my skin is dry and I didn't think it would really work, and I can say that for being the first time that I let myself be carried away by those tiktok recommendations I loved it, mainly the milky toner I use it after washing my face and it leaves it very soft and when I go to put on foundation I combine it and it is incredible. I recommend it 100%
