The Samson Long Cast Maximal 12ft lure rod is the most powerful in the 2-piece Long Cast line-up.
The lightweight, 2 section 30T Japanese Toray carbon blank has a fast action with a relatively stiff tip, perfect for launching your lure to the horizon and controlling it around rocks and features. With a casting range of 60 to 200g casting range, this is a big rod for big fish and gives you the versatility to use a variety of surface and sub-surface lures, including the heaviest in your tackle box.
The Maximal has been tested on a variety of hard-fighting fish from the shore, including GT, when big fish call for big lures.
The rod is fitted with quality braid-safe SIC micro guides, ensuring long range casting and line control to gain the maximum distance with your cast. A 70cm EVA handle provides the comfort and leverage you need for a day’s monster hunting.
Paired with a 6000 to 14000 size reel and 40 to 80lb braid, the Maximal will subdue hard-fighting tropical species.
This is a true long range monster hunting weapon.
