Experience premier server performance with the Supermicro H12SSW-iNR, a dual-socket motherboard engineered around AMD’s Socket SP3 and the AMD EPYC 7000-series. Built for enterprise-grade workloads, this board combines the horsepower of Zen-based EPYC processors with a robust interconnect fabric and a proprietary form factor designed for dense, scalable deployments. Whether you’re building virtualization clusters, data-intensive databases, HPC nodes, or cloud-ready servers, the H12SSW-iNR is engineered to deliver predictable performance, strong reliability, and flexible expansion. Its AMD chipset integration optimizes memory bandwidth and I/O throughput while maintaining a streamlined, enterprise-ready management experience. This motherboard represents a core building block for high-density servers that demand both compute power and dependable operation in demanding data-center environments.

  • Dual-processor AMD EPYC platform: The H12SSW-iNR supports two AMD EPYC 7000-series processors via Socket SP3, unlocking substantial multi-threaded performance for virtualization, large-scale databases, simulation workloads, and HPC applications. Designed to maximize core counts and parallel processing, this motherboard enables dense, capable servers that can handle demanding workloads with strong scalability. The dual-CPU configuration is complemented by AMD Zen-based architecture, which contributes to improved IPC, energy efficiency, and overall system responsiveness in multi-tenant data-center environments.
  • Proprietary form factor for optimized deployments: The board’s distinctive proprietary form factor is engineered for high-density server chassis and backplane integrations. This design simplifies cabling, airflow, and power distribution in racks and blade-like environments, while maintaining compatibility with enterprise-grade chassis configurations. The form factor supports scalable expansion and consistent deployment across multi-node systems, enabling data centers to standardize hardware and streamline maintenance, firmware updates, and inventory control.
  • High-speed interconnect fabric and memory performance: A key strength of the H12SSW-iNR is the fast interconnect fabric that links dual CPUs, memory subsystems, and I/O, reducing latency and increasing data throughput for latency-sensitive workloads. The motherboard is optimized for broad memory bandwidth and reliable ECC-capable memory configurations, allowing administrators to tune memory channels and error-checking to meet mission-critical reliability requirements. This combination is ideal for virtualization farms, in-memory databases, and scientific computing clusters where memory performance directly impacts throughput and response times.
  • Extensive I/O options, PCIe expansion, and storage support: Designed to accommodate a wide range of accelerators, network interface cards, storage controllers, and high-speed storage devices, the H12SSW-iNR provides numerous PCIe slots and connectors to match diverse workloads. It supports multiple storage interfaces and backplanes, enabling configurations that mix traditional SAS/SATA with modern NVMe and other enterprise storage technologies. This flexibility is essential for customized data-center deployments, enabling fast data access, low-latency I/O, and efficient caching for database and analytics workloads.
  • Reliability, manageability, and enterprise-grade serviceability: The motherboard emphasizes reliability with robust power delivery, thermal management, and fault-tolerant design principles suited for 24/7 operations. Enterprise management features, including remote management interfaces and diagnostic capabilities, simplify deployment, monitoring, firmware updates, and troubleshooting. How to install Supermicro H12SSW-iNR

  • Prepare your server chassis and confirm adequate cooling, airflow, and power supply capacity to support dual CPUs and dense configurations. Ground yourself and follow proper anti-static procedures before handling components.
  • Install the CPUs into the Socket SP3 sockets, aligning pins carefully and applying thermal interface material as required. Mount the heatsinks with the recommended torque to ensure effective heat transfer and reliable cooling under heavy workloads.
  • Insert memory modules into the supported DIMM slots, following the motherboard’s memory population guidelines for dual-CPU configurations. Ensure modules are fully seated and locked to maintain stability and correct channel operation.
  • Install expansion cards, storage controllers, and any required PCIe devices. Route cables neatly to promote airflow and reduce the risk of disconnections, and connect storage backplanes or drives as needed for your configuration.
  • Mount the motherboard into the proprietary chassis or backplane, connect all required power connectors, fans, and management headers, and verify front-panel signals (power, reset, and diagnostic LEDs) are properly wired.
  • Power on and enter the BIOS/UEFI. Configure CPU topology, memory timings, boot order, and virtualization features (as needed). Enable any required security features and ensure firmware update settings are in place for ongoing maintenance.
  • Install the operating system and drivers, then run baseline validation tests. Monitor system temperatures, power consumption, and hardware health indicators to confirm a stable, productive deployment.

Overall good frother
Color: Black
Bought the Maestri and the Zulay frother to test which one is better since both had good reviews. Returned the Zulay (see Zulay review) and kept the Maestri. Been using it for a few days now and works well. Mixes chai and hot chocolate well. It has one speed that is a good speed to mix, but not so fast that it causes the drink to spill over the top as long as the cup is filled to about 80% full. Because I tend to use the tall 20 oz Contigo autoseal cups, it could benefit from offering longer attachments to reach the bottom of the cup (note: that I did not find any company that offers longer attachment arms).

LOVE this frother and the creamy results!
Color: Black
I LOVE this gadget! And I'm not a gadget person. Since I got it a few days ago, I've switched from using my Nespresso coffee maker, which uses pods and which I really like, to using Starbucks instant coffee packets (cheaper and more environmentally friendly than pods). I put a packet of the coffee and two packets of Equal in a cup, add half and half, then use this frother to mix them. Within a few seconds -- no more than 5, if that -- I have a thick mound of creamy froth. Then I had the water to finish making the coffee. Fantastic. This thing is so easy and fun to use. This is not the cheapest frother available. I wanted a rechargeable unit that has sufficient power to make nice, creamy froth. Also, I didn't want to spend $10 and have the thing break and have to replace it. Reviews suggest the cheaper ones are fine if you don't regularly use a frother. I never used one before and didn't really think I would use it very often. But I like it so much, I've been using it twice a day. Also, I first saw one in use while traveling in India. Another guest at my small hotel had one, which she used to make a latte with rather than drink the rather tepid offering at the more tea-oriented hotel. That's when I decided to get one. I'll be taking it on future trips. Some come with travel containers; this one didn't. The only learning curve was making sure the cup or pitcher for the cream is deap enough not to splash out the cream. I think I'm actually using a little less cream than I used to because the volume increases so much. I use cold cream, not heated (I used to heat it in the microwave when I was using the NesPresso.) I find I like the initial contrast with the cold cream at the top, then I stir it down into the coffee. The Starbucks coffee is excellent. I've used it for iced lattes in the past, so I knew it was good. I can hardly wait for a heat wave to make them with this frother. I did try to beater attachment in eggs when I was making an omelet. Not worth the trouble -- first, the bowl I was using to beat the eggs was too shallow and egg got all over. Second, a fork works just as well. If I were whipping cream, I would definitely use it.

Works great and so much fun!
Color: Black
How did I live without this for so long? I love this little gadget! It gets used multiple times a day. It's not only great for frothing milk but it will whip eggs for a recipe and stir other ingredients as well. People who have complained that the stirring attachment was missing a piece did not read the description. The picture clearly shows there is no "boot" on that attachment, you don't want that one to spin like the frother. The Frother holds a charge for quite a while as well. I use mine multiple times a day and it is still holding a charge after weeks of daily use. Great item!
