The Danubia Alpina LX 7x50 Binoculars have BAK-7 prisms which means that they have a higher quality image than similar binoculars with BAK-4 prisms. They have a large centre focus wheel, which means that focusing is really easy, even when wearing gloves and the retractable eyecups mean that the binoculars can be used, without removing spectacles; simply twist up for using without glasses or left down for spectacle wearers. The solid black rubber armour coating on the binocular housing, means that the binoculars are a bit more resiliant and easier to hold when out in the field.

The 7x magnification, gives a wider field of view at 6.8° and makes the binoculars easy to hold still, thereby cutting out handshake and reducing eye-strain. The 50mm objctive is really large, giving additional light input and when coupled with the 7x magnification, the binoculars become extremely bright, even during dawn and dusk. The Alpina LX range of binoculars feature Multi Coated optics which helps reduce reflection and enhance light gathering capabilities and Danubia have included a a 1/4" tripod socket, so the binoculars can be screwed to a tripod head or to a window clamp for ease of use.

They come complete with a carry case, a set of four caps and a neck strap.
