Company Profile
Tow-Trust Towbars Ltd are one of the UK's largest manufacturers of towbars and towing accessories. Based in Atherstone, Warwickshire the company has set about forging a strong reputation amongst the trade for supplying the highest quality products. From commercial and non-commercial towbars to an expanding range of trade accessories, Tow-Trust are confident we have the right towing solution for you.

Here at Tow-Trust we have deliberately chosen to site ourselves at the premium end of the market, and this means sourcing the best quality steel and using the latest technology for design and manufacturing processes. This enables us to produce products that our nationwide stockists recommend without hesitation. The Tow-Trust promise from start to finish is simple, 'absolute quality'.

In today's competitive market, every brand and manufacturer seem to make the claim for the quality of their product, yet we constantly hear headlines of how companies are trying to cut costs in order to cheapen the manufacturing process of their products. Cheaper manufacturing costs may lead to cheaply made products, a concept Tow-Trust have challenged through heavy investment in our production process. The whole Tow-Trust operation, from initial computer aided design right through to our high-grade packaging of each towbar, exhibits a remarkable attention to detail.

You may be forgiven for now expecting that this makes our products expensive, however our dedicated sales team constantly monitor our prices to ensure we are competitively priced against all alternative manufacturers. Although our products may not be the cheapest on the market we firmly believe they offer true 'value for money'. We think anyone would agree that you cannot be the cheapest and the best at the same time, and for that very reason we have decided to become the best. After all, ask yourself the question: with a safety critical component such as a towbar would you really want to rely on using the cheapest product?

Tow-Trust have been a quiet success in the towing industry for over 20 years and until relatively recently, it is fair to say that most people who require use of a towbar may only know of a few brands. However, in today's modern world the internet has meant motorists have better access than ever before to new products and possibilities. It is time therefore for the towing industries previous best kept secret to now reap the rewards of years of hard work.

From commercial fleets to the private motorist who drives to the tip once a month, the demands of a towbar are relatively simple: that it is safe, fits well, looks good, and does the job it was intended for. Despite not seeming like a lot to ask, without the proper attention to detail and passion for the product it can be surprisingly difficult to find a towbar that ticks all the boxes and we believe this is where Tow-Trust comes in. In today's market where money is tight and competition is high, it turns out that quality is still a word that means something and with such dedication to producing quality, why would you trust anyone else ....

Vertical detachable swan neck towbar
The majority of Tow-Trust's detachable swan neck towbars are 'vertical' (VK) systems making them fully hidden behind the bumper once the detachable neck is removed. All our VK towbars incorporate a fold away electrical plate enabling the towbar electrics to fold behind the bumper when not in use. Key features of the vertical detachable system are;

Suitable for vehicles with reversing sensors
In most instances this system is completely invisible once the neck is removed and therefore preserves the aesthetic appearance of the vehicle
Alko compatible
Allows free access to the rear of the vehicle
Lockable with a set of two keys provided
Storage bag provided for safe keeping once neck is removed

Tow-Trust offer one of the largest ranges of 'swan neck' detachable towbars.  This system offers a removable solution for customers looking to combine a towing facility with maintaining the appearance of their vehicle.

The majority of our 'swan neck' detachable range are 'vertical' (VK) systems which in most cases are invisible kits that are fully hidden behind the bumper once the detachable neck is removed. Most VK detachable towbars come complete with a single fold away electrical socket plate which enables the towbar electrics to be moved up behind the bumper when not in use. For security purposes, all detachable necks are lockable and come with a set of keys to ensure peace of mind when the vehicle is left with the neck in place. A storage bag is also supplied once the neck is removed for safe keeping.

It is our aim to manufacture all detachables in the VK format due to their neat appearance when the neck is not attached. Unfortunately due to the design of some vehicles, it is not possible for a VK to be designed and fitted. This is usually due to insufficient space behind the bumper for the housing of the neck and the socket plate to be located. In this rare instance we still try to offer a detachable option by designing a 'horizontal' (HK) system. Whilst not being completely invisible this still offers a removable, lockable neck solution that enables customers all the benefits of a detachable system apart from it not being invisible.

The key features of a Tow-Trust detachable system are as follows:

  • Invisible*
  • Easy to use
  • Detachable towball
  • Retractable electric sockets
  • Aesthetically pleasing solution for executive vehicles
  • Increased security (Lockable neck)
  • Full VCA / RDW approval
  • Minimal maintenance
  • Alko compatible
  • Will not affect the reverse sensors once neck is removed

* Please note visibility of towbar and electrics is wholly dependent on vehicle make & model

Universal wiring kit

Our universal wiring kits can be installed in nearly every vehicle. The kits can transmit signals related to the tail lights. Because these are analogue signals, a universal wiring kit cannot be programmed and can therefore not connect to the on-board computer that controls the car electronics. We offer standard 7-pin and 13-pin universal wiring kits.

Two romances for the price of one!!
Format: Kindle
This was a really interesting book. Usually you only get a single romance, maybe some side character has a little something happen offpage. Not here. You get two complete romances for the price of one. Though the romances are interconnected and somewhat similar. Both Eleanor and Tatum don't believe they should have relationships...though for very different reasons. And they both overcome their fears and move forward with their love interests in similar fashion. Dawn was by far the best side character, and I loved her. I would honestly love to have a story of her finding love again, even at her age. She's just so fun. Eleanor and Carson are a fun pair. They bring out the fun and playful in her. She brings out the emotional depth in them. They really do make each other better, more complete people. They become close very quickly which ends up scaring Eleanor off. Tatum and June are adorable. They both obviously like each other, but Tatum is hung up on the idea that nothing will ever work because of how her family is, and June is trying to deal with being the kind of person who needs a relationship to feel safe and normal. They finally start to open up to each other and then mutually freak out a little causing hurt feelings. There is a third act breakup for each couple. They happen about the same time, and last for the same time in the book and chronologically which is a few months unfortunately. Overall it was a very light, fluffy story that is easy to fall into. There aren't really any truly explicit spicy scenes. There is the barest amount of spice and then it gets glossed over, so not truly fade to black either. I wasn't a fan of the whole 'NYC is so super fabulous and everyone should want to live there' kind of vibe parts of the book gave off, but that's more of a personal hangup of mine than anything else.

Feeling The Holiday inspiration
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
Tatum needs a quick escape from her small town life and the week of events planned to introduce her (and the rest of the family) to a surprise half brother, so she joins customer-who-she-won’t-let-herself-love June on a business trip to NYC Tatum is swapping homes with Eleanor, who needs an escape of her own from The City after of PR nightmare of a job - and situationship - loss throws her life into chaos. While she’s staying at Tatum’s, she meets her younger sibling and her attraction to them is both immediate and required. But are there feelings too? I think with any story that involves multiple relationships, you’re going to be interested in one over the other. For me, I was invested more in Eleanor and Carson. Their spontaneity and artistic sides of their jobs seemed to mesh well from the start. I’m still not sold on why Tatum and June shouldn’t have been together from the start, so it felt like I was waiting for them to catch up. My favorite side character would have to be aging former movie star Dawn, from Tatum and June’s storyline. I was cheering for her to get a second chance at the spotlight. I was happy for HEAs all around, especially when the couples have to overcome the issues of having existing lives in different places. I enjoy books like this when there’s an epilogue set later too, assuring those HEAs stick the landing!

Entertaining
Format: Kindle
This is a fun book that includes a house swap such as you have seen in the movie Holiday. Tatum and Eleanor both go through things personally and need a change so they switch houses which are in different towns. One goes to a small town, whereas one is in the Hollywood area. It’s really fun to see how both characters adjust to being in different places and how it really makes them think about their own lives while they each by themselves falling for someone. There is wonderful banter throughout the book and all of the side characters are entertaining as well. It’s a fun book.

Not for me
Format: Paperback
I’ll start off by saying I’m definitely not the target audience for this book yet I tried not to let that color my review any. The dual main characters are interesting in their own ways yet I didn’t find myself invested in the outcome.

The Holliday but make it sapphic
Format: Paperback
Ok, sapphic twist on The Holiday was just what I needed. I loved all the sweet little details between the couples and all the family drama. June and Tatum swap homes with Eleanor and leave their small town for a big adventure in New York, hoping to sell June's perfume business. Tatum needs to escape her family, and wouldn't you know it, she has always had a huge crush on June. Eleanor needs to get out of New York stat when she finds out her fling is actually engaged, she gets fired from her job, and she is just an all-around mess. She jumps at the chance to swap homes and for a girl with a lot of romantic issues, meeting Tatum's sibling Carson is quite the distraction. In New York, Eleanor's neighbor Dawn is an old famous actress, and she was one of my favorite characters. She was full of life but needed to be reminded how much of a badass she is. June and Tatum are able to get her to be social while she forces them to evaluate what is holding them back. My second favorite character is Carson. The romance between them and Eleanor was so swoony, and I felt like they are the kind of person you want to orbit because being near them would make you happy. I think them as a couple was the best part of the book, and the way Eleanor gets to join in on the crazy family reunion Tatum has to skip out on. Tatum was probably the hardest character for me to love. They felt extremely juvenile for their age, and I kept thinking she was 18-20, only to be reminded she was an adult almost in their 30s. I also felt a little less invested in her love story with June and while I liked them both fine, Carson and Eleanor were top tier for me. If you are looking for a romcom with heart, this one will check those boxes.
