Introduce gradually over a week when switching.

Can be fed dry or soaked (particularly for foals, greedy feeders, older/dental-challenged horses). When soaking, use approx 2-2.5 times its volume of water.

Start with ~ 100 g per 100 kg bodyweight per day (dry weight) and increase as required, up to ~5 kg/day for a 500 kg horse.

Suitable as part or full forage alternative. Good for variety in the diet.
