Yorkville C12B Coliseum Series 400W Installation Loudspeaker - 12" (Black)

Made in Canada, the Coliseum C12B is closely based on the high-performance Elite E12. C12B features include 11-ply Baltic birch cabinet construction, a durable metal grill, a rotatable ABS 80 x 50 degree horn and ample integrated flypoints for firm attachment to custom designed Yorkville flyware that ensure cost effective rigging in single cabinet or multi-speaker arrays. Additional Omnimount compatible rigging points make the 400 watt C12B an ideal solution for larger commercial installation or House of Worship PA applications. After years of experience with enclosure design, it was logical for Yorkville to apply its knowledge to the design of a range of speaker cabinets that have been specifically designed for installation purposes. The knowledge that we gained while developing the TX, lite, Pulse and Performance series enclosures was applied to yield a series of practical yet cost effective installation enclosures. The combination of custom designed woofers and compression drivers mounted on Yorkville's exclusive ABS horns, and less complex crossover networks has proven to be an excellent compromise between performance and price. All Canadian-made Coliseum series enclosures are constructed of highly rigid 15mm (.59") Baltic Birch plywood. Although the standard, rugged white epoxy finish is clean and attractive, all Coliseum series enclosures are also available by special order in Black Ultrathane paint (significant delivery times may apply). Their trapezoidal shape is conducive to array mounting and minimizes lobing difficulties. Flypoints are steel reinforced and engineered to allow easy, flexible and safe enclosure suspension. All enclosures and grilles can be easily refinished and feature a grille clip attachment system for easy removal and recovering. Painstaking attention to design details is evident by features such as the safety screw hidden under the embossed Yorkville logo, which ensures that the grille does not inadvertently come loose.
