Speaking about the films that influenced his fourteenth album, the solitary masterwork In the Shape of a Storm, Damien Jurado tosses out a list of favorites - American Graffiti, Paris, Texas, The Last Picture Show - films in which settings serve as silent, omniscient characters. But inquire about the curious way he writes songs, the hazy manner by which he seems to channel them from beyond the beyond, and the cinematic reference point he reaches for is a surprising one. "You ever see that movie Ghost? Whoopi Goldberg's character, Oda Mae Brown - that's who I am. These spirits are showing up at her door, jumping into her body. That's how I feel. I don't know what's coming out of me... I just show up and deliver it." These are songs about the enormity of the unknown - the shape of storms that threaten to swallow us whole - and above all, they are songs about the connections that keep us from drifting away. "We are not meant to be on our own," Jurado sings on "Throw Me Now Your Arms."

Galaxy A16 unlocked
Color: Light Green
It works very well. Battery lasts for four or five days with normal phone calls and texting. I do not use it for games nor watching videos. Prefer reading E-mails on desktop computer. Screen is not big enough for scrolling through E-mails. Screen is very good looking and has nice colors. Upgrade to Android 16. Camera makes very good quality pictures. Overall, I am very pleased wit the Galaxy A16.

Mom was given a cheap government phone that didn't work well,so I decided to purchase this one because it's fast ,responsive, and it takes decent pictures,battery life is excellent,nice size clear display,and my elderly mother manage it pretty easy ,she's so happy.
Also it worked right away,I set her email and then I put the old phone's SIM card and that was it.
I recommend this phone 100% to all of you that got those government phones ,or a pretty decent working and affordable phone.

The Samsung Galaxy A16 offers great value for the price. The display is bright and clear, making it perfect for watching videos, browsing the web, and using everyday apps. The battery life is impressive and easily lasts throughout the day with regular use.
The phone runs smoothly, handles multitasking well, and the camera takes surprisingly good photos for a device in this price range. Setup was simple, and the overall design looks modern and stylish.

I could not get it hooked up at any of the government cell phone places in the United State

I'm 60 years old I sent it back because I didn't understand the lingo it said global phone so I thought it would work everywhere but I could not hook it up very nice phone for somebody who's going to travel out of the country it's got two SIM cards well made at a great price I'm just sad that I couldn't keep it
