Exceptional Sound and Reliability
The design comprises a 165 mm (6.50") polypropylene full-range driver and 0.79" ferrofluid cooled soft dome high frequency driver mounted in a UV and weather resistant UL 94-V0 ABS enclosure. Dust protection is provided in the form of an attractive aluminum mesh grille. The paper cone material and butyl rubber surround enhance durability and long-term reliability. DVS 601-WH is specifically designed for applications requiring the combination of excellent music and speech sound quality and exceptional reliability.

Weather-Resistant Enclosure
The elegantly styled semi-matt white molded enclosure blends beautifully into any décor. Additionally, the DVS 601-WH design and performance has achieving an IP64 rating, making it an exceptional choice for both indoor and outdoor environments such as indoor swimming pools, health suites, or work areas with unusually high levels of dust or moisture, and outdoor applications where weather conditions are moderate.

Attractive and Easy to Install
The highly durable and scuff-resistant ABS enclosure features a white painted finish and comes with an aesthetically pleasing aluminum grille. Installation is quick and easy, thanks to the included color matched steel mounting bracket and finger-adjustable hardware on the enclosure top and bottom. Phoenix* connectors for input and link output are provided for convenience.

Architecture and Engineering Specifications
The speaker shall be of the full range, two-way passive type consisting of one 6.5" (165 mm) LF driver and one 0.75” (20 mm) HF driver. Performance specifications of a typical production unit shall meet or exceed the following: frequency response, measured with swept sine wave input, shall be flat within ±3 dB from 90 Hz to 20 kHz and within -10 dB from 80 Hz to 20 kHz. Nominal dispersion, at -6 dB points, shall be 90° conical, averaged 1kHz – 10 kHz. Nominal impedance shall be passive: 8 Ohms.

Power handling shall be passive: 30 Watts continuous, 120 Watts peak. Sensitivity, measured on axis, mean averaged over the stated bandwidth, shall be 86 dB, 1 Watt @ 1 meter.  Maximum SPL of 108 dB average measured at 1 m under free field conditions, using unweighted pink noise.

Dimensions: 320 mm high x 201 mm wide x 169 mm deep (12.6" x 7.91" x 6.65"). Net weight: 5.8 kg (12.8 lbs). The loudspeaker system shall be the Tannoy DVS 601-WH. No other loudspeaker shall be acceptable unless submitted data from an independent test laboratory verifies that the above combined performance/size specifications are equaled or exceeded.
