The multi-instrument Peavey Vypyr X 2 1x12-inch 40-watt Modeling Guitar/Bass/Acoustic Combo Amp contains models of electric, acoustic, and bass amplifiers. By utilizing Peavey's groundbreaking Variable Instrument Input, this powerful combo amp changes the gain structure and input sensitivity based on what instrument you use, ensuring the best sound possible from electric, acoustic, and bass guitars. Ensuring you'll always find the perfect fit for every gig, there are 36 unique amp models onboard, including six acoustic and six bass amp models. And with Peavey's WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface, there's no more guessing where your knobs are set when you switch presets — each one is surrounded by LEDs to indicate their setting.

The Vypyr X 2 features 26 onboard effects with parameter controls, as well as universal delay and reverb. This means you have chorus, wah, compression, flanger, octaver, tremolo, rotary speaker, and more effects at your disposal at a fraction of the cost it would take to gather each one separately. This combo amp also comes loaded with Peavey's TransTube analog technology, reproducing the grit and warmth of genuine tubes while leaving all of its processing power for the effects.
