That’s possible because Silver Star’s “base area” or village isn’t located at the bottom of the lifts, instead, it’s mid-mountain, so it’s easy and convenient to start on top of your first run in the morning without even riding a chairlift. And, there’s less traversing and fewer cat tracks required to get to a lift, since Silver Star has 12 different lifts, including a gondola and a six-person chair.
