artist biography
Sven Harry Elis Sandberg, born April 20, 1920 in Själevad, Örnsköldsvik, was a Swedish painter, sculptor and ceramicist.

Sandberg studied at the Konstfackskolan (Academy of Fine Arts) from 1944 to 1946, then undertook an internship with Maggie Wibom from 1946 to 1948, followed by three years at Gustavsberg's porcelain factory under famed Swedish ceramicist and painter Wilhelm Kåge between 1948 and 1950. He and his wife started a ceramics workshop in Karlstad in 1950, which he shared with her until the mid-1970s, despite their separation in 1958. From the late 1950s Sandberg travelled to Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium to study art and concentrate entirely on painting, completely retiring from sculpture and ceramics. He was awarded the Värmland Museum's Friends travel scholarship in 1958.

He participated in the group exhibitions including ‘Unga tecknare’ at the National Museum in Stockholm annually between 1947 and 1954, at the Swedish General Art Association annually between 1954 and 1957, Stockholm Salon in 1958, Mölndal City Hall in 1955, and the Värmland Art Association annually for 20 years between 1951 and 1970. Sandberg had solo exhibitions at Värmland's Museum, Galleri Brinken in Stockholm, Galleri Gripen, Karlskoga konsthall and Örnsköldsvik. From the late 1950s Sandberg travelled to Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium to study art and concentrate entirely on painting, completely retiring from sculpture and ceramics. He was awarded the Värmland Museum's Friends travel scholarship in 1958.

His ceramic production consisted mainly of sculptural objects such as birds, fish, vases, while the paintings have a colour and a design language that fit into the 1950s and 1960s.

Among his public art are polychrome ceramic reliefs for the Resurrection Chapel in Själevad in 1954, HSB Karlstad in 1958, Älvkullegymnasiet and the Central Hospital in Karlstad, anda painted wooden relief for the medical centre in Munkfors.

Sandberg is represented in collections in Sweden including the Värmland Museum, Karlstad Municipality, Värmland County Council, and Gustav VI Adolf's collection.

Sandberg passed away aged 64 on February 16, 1985 in Karlstad.

Tough Dog Balls. Bright Orange/holes for treats
Color: B) 3" 2-Pack (Bacon)
I used to buy Starmark. But their balls got smaller and tore more easily. The color was green. I couldn’t find it when it was dropped in the grass!! Soooooo, I took a chance on this cuz it had holes in it and was bright orange. It is not scented at all or its bacon scent faded. The ball is for strong chewers. I’m a petsitter and I needed tough balls for my clients dog. Shipped quickly. Good price. Exactly as described

Flavored Dog Rubber Balls
Color: H) 2.5" 3-Pack (Beef), Color: H) 2.5" 3-Pack (Beef)
My dog absolutely loves these balls, I have a few more I had already bought, but she has an addiction to them so I had to buy more. I am able to squeeze these really easily so when she does pick them up after I’ve thrown them they’re very easy for her to pick up. They have a good thickness to them so it’s not too flimsy. It’s pretty tough and they bounce pretty high which I like and so does she know she is an aggressive chewer, but I haven’t had an issue yet with her chewing right through these, which is why I like them and we both love the fact that it smells like beef I could practically smell them through the bag, but I have a really high pitched sense of smell, and I knew she was going to love them. Not to mention you can’t beat the price.

Love These Balls
Color: H) 2.5" 3-Pack (Beef), Color: H) 2.5" 3-Pack (Beef)
These are great balls. My Border Collie can destroy a tennis ball in a couple of hours and the Kong brand ball is heavier than I like to play with in the house. These balls hold up to her biting and chewing but are lite weight and softer for bouncing off the walls.
