Fat, Buzzy Oscillator
- West Beast’s oscillator, designed in partnership with the ultraserious people at Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers, stems from 10 long years of stoic commitment to a continuous development of analog oscillator research and development.
- Its beautiful buzzy circuitry is not a clone or based on any outside designs. It is made with 100% modern components. This keeps it very stable, and gives it a super-rich, and unique sound.
Waveform Contour
- West Pest utilizes a custom wavefolder to shape the sound. It adds additional dimensions to West Pest’s already unique sounding oscillator core.
- A wavefolder shapes sounds differently than a filter. Instead of removing harmonics, the wave folder increases the harmonic content of the oscillator by folding the wave in on itself to create sonically rich waveforms.
- West Pest’s wave folder takes what traditional wave folding circuits have done for years and ups the ante, allowing the user to fold previously unfoldable waveforms.
- In addition to being able to send all of West Pest’s waveforms through its wavefolder/waveshaper, you can also input external sound sources.
Dynamics Controller
- In continuity with the whole west-coast synth vibe, West Pest has a dynamics controller as well as an LFO to further sculpt its sound.
- The Dynamics Controller combines the functionality of a VCA with a low-pass filter to imitate the behavior of soundwaves in the real world by dynamically modifying the harmonic content with the volume of the sound.
Go Patch Yourself
- Semimodular means that the West Pest will work without any patch cables. But what’s the fun in that? Who doesn’t want to build a magnificent web of patch cables flowing in and out of their synthesizer? Brewing up sounds the old fashioned way like unwavering generations before you—one patch cable at a time is where the real magic happens.
- West Pest has a whopping 18 Eurorack-compatible patch points to plug into itself and your other gear. Rewire West Pest’s signal flow, or share your favorite elements from West Pest with any other compatible synthesizers and vice versa.
MIDI
- The West Pest offers a fancy MIDI in and MIDI thru, so you can chain multiple MIDI monstrosities together.
- Enjoy plugging a MIDI controller into West Pest and rocking out and/or sequencing like mad.
Performance Features
West Pest includes quite a few additional performance features including a built-in tap tempo clock, arpeggiator, and sequencer. There's a lot of opportunities to inject in some randomness, too.

Very good size to carry a phone

I ended up wearing a different outfit on NYE and returned, but I really wanted to keep it. The item was delivered flawless, and good quality of the pu - silver color was intact and not peeling. Why I wanted to keep it & will purchase other colors is the size. This is the first evening dress clutch that I could fit iPhone 14 Pro Max, along with a compact, keys, lipstick and liner, and card wallet. Would have been so easy for me to carry, and sit on a table or on the car dash. Cost is reasonable considering I’m getting the burgundy and will use it more often than silver

Why spend $3400, when this is so similar?
Color: Cream Beige Woven Leather
A great little bag. Perfect for an evening out and very much has the look of the $3400 original. If you've seen the more expensive one, you can see that the closure of this one is extremely similar. As for durability, at this price if it lasts one or two seasons, that's fine with me. It also comes with a dust bag, which makes it easy to keep clean and dust free while it sits on my shelf waiting for me to use it. I love that I can use it with the crossbody strap, the top handle or carry it as a clutch.
