The richly illustrated edition contains artistic reconstructions of the appearance of warriors, based on sources and the latest works of researchers of the material world of ancient eras. The publication publishes reconstructions of soldiers of the Copper, Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages, soldiers of the ancient states of the Northern Black Sea region and nomadic horsemen of the Ukrainian steppes, ancient Germans and Slavs, ancient Russian soldiers and knights of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Crimean Tatars and Ottoman Turks , soldiers of the Commonwealth of Nations and Ukrainian Cossacks, soldiers of the imperial armies and Ukrainian armed forces of the 20th century, as well as soldiers who are currently defending Ukraine from external aggression.
