The DNA Messenger has been Tenba's best-selling bag worldwide since its introduction. As the Tenba DNA 16 Slim Messenger Bag has been in the market for some time, Tenba felt it was due for an update.

The sizes have been consolidated to better accommodate the hardware that photographers are using. Mirrorless cameras are growing, and the size of the Mirrorless Cameras that are coming to market are becoming bigger in both weight and size. So, the bags have been adapted to match the hardware and demand.

The exterior fabric has a matte finish, similar to the DNA Special Edition, with even better durability and abrasion resistance. It has a rich hand-feel and is available in Black and Blue.

The fabric is super water repellent. The top coating and back coating of the fabric including that of the interior are coated and therefore more water-repellent than any bag Tenba has ever made.

Quick Access Top Zipper - Makes it possible to securely exchange cameras and lenses without opening the front flap, keeping the bag contents hidden in the process.

Mesh Side Pockets - Made with more durable tear-resistant mesh. Pocket made for small and larger water bottles.

Tenba’s Exclusive Whisper Hook Closure - Quiet Velcro makes it possible to open the bag nearly silent by pulling straight down on the flap before pulling away from the bag.
