This NetShelter SX Colocation component delivers scalable, high-performance expansion for your existing rack infrastructure. Built for data center environments and colocation deployments, this 20U, 600mm wide enclosure with a perforated curved door combines robust security with superior airflow. Designed to integrate seamlessly with standard 19-inch equipment racks, it helps maximize space, optimize cooling, and simplify cabling management while maintaining the clean, professional look your data center demands. Whether you’re expanding capacity to accommodate new servers, switches, or storage arrays, this NetShelter SX module provides a reliable, modular solution that grows with your needs.

  • Optimized airflow and cooling efficiency: The perforated curved door design promotes superior ventilation, reducing hot spots and improving overall thermal management in dense rack deployments. This helps maintain equipment performance and longevity while supporting higher-density configurations. The curved door profile also minimizes obstruction to front-to-back airflow and contributes to a leaner, more organized front cabinet appearance.

How to install NetShelter SX Colocation 20U 600mm Wide Perforated Curved Door Black

To install this NetShelter SX colocation component, follow these practical steps to ensure proper fit, secure mounting, and optimal airflow. While the exact hardware may vary by cabinet configuration, these guidelines apply to most standard deployments within the NetShelter SX ecosystem.

  • Assess compatibility with your existing NetShelter SX enclosure and confirm that you have the correct mounting rails and fasteners for your rack depth and screw pattern. Verify that the 20U height aligns with the available vertical space in your cabinet and that the 600mm width aligns with the enclosure’s interior dimensions.
  • Prepare the rack area: power down and unplug adjacent equipment if necessary, and clear the rack of loose components. If you’re replacing a door or panel, remove the existing front cover panels first, keeping fasteners organized for reuse where possible.
  • Position the colocation component at the desired location in the rack, ensuring the weight distribution is balanced and that there is adequate clearance for airflow and cabling behind the front door. Align the mounting rails with the rack’s vertical rails, and loosely attach to allow for minor adjustments.
  • Tighten mounting hardware securely to fix the component in place. Check that the perforated curved door aligns correctly with the chassis and that the hinge mechanism moves freely without binding. If your configuration uses locking hardware, engage the lock to secure access.
  • Route cabling neatly in front of the unit and use cable managers to maintain a clean, organized front profile. Ensure there’s sufficient space for cable bends, airflow channels, and future expansion.
  • Test fit with representative equipment: before loading your production hardware, simulate a typical deployment by installing sample devices (such as a switch or server) to confirm cable management, airflow, and accessibility meet your expectations.
  • Finalize the setup: once you’re satisfied with alignment, airflow, and cable routing, perform a final security check and reinstall any doors or panels. Document the installation for future maintenance and expansion, including rack unit placement, door orientation, and any locking mechanisms used.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: Is the NetShelter SX Colocation 20U component compatible with all NetShelter SX cabinets?
A: It is designed to integrate with standard NetShelter SX configurations and 19-inch equipment rails. While it works well with many SX systems, always verify compatibility with your specific enclosure model and depth before purchasing.
  • Q: What does “20U” mean in practice for this unit?
A: “20U” refers to 20 rack units of vertical height, providing space for multiple servers, switches, and storage devices within a compact, scalable footprint. This makes it a strong choice for moderate-to-high-density deployments in colocation environments.
  • Q: Does the perforated curved door improve cooling?
A: Yes. The perforated design facilitates better front-to-back airflow, helping to dissipate heat more efficiently from densely packed equipment and reducing thermal bottlenecks in the rack.
  • Q: Is the component lockable?
A: Locking options are common in NetShelter SX components for added security in data centers and colocation sites. If your configuration requires a lock, verify the included hardware or accessory compatibility during purchase and install accordingly.
  • Q: What kind of maintenance or care does this unit require?
A: Routine inspection of mounting rails, door hinges, and fasteners is recommended. Keep ventilation paths clear of dust and debris, and periodically verify cable management fittings to maintain optimal airflow and organization.
  • Q: Can I add more than one 20U module to a single enclosure?
A: In many NetShelter SX layouts, additional modules can be added in a modular fashion to expand capacity. Always consult your system designer or the product compatibility guide to confirm stackable configurations and to ensure proper airflow and structural integrity.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Wow.
Format: Kindle
Okay I’m usually not one for stand-alone’s I’m an avid series reader but my goodness am I so happy I read this! This story was brilliant & so absolutely mesmerizing. I loved reading about each character and their struggles as well as what helped them to move forward. The ending definitely brought tears to my eyes so hard. I truly wasn’t expecting some of what happened in this story. There is about to be a spoiler I am going to reveal so please stop reading if you don’t want the spoiler !!!! ⚠️ ⛔️ ‼️ I loved that the author didn’t do what most authors do with irredeemable male characters. I truly was hoping that Nate Jr. would be apart of the pack after the way he treated Astrea bc he truly didn’t deserve it. Though I must say you did a wonderful job or redeeming him as a person. I cried my eyes out when he walked into the story. I was truly terrified he was going to be a bad guy to the end. However you truly did him such a justice by having him realize his faults & having him redeem himself in the most wonderful way. I’m so sad that he didn’t get to hear how much his brother loved him & forgave him before dying. But again you wrote that ending so beautifully & I just can’t express how much I loved this story & how you took a different route than most authors I have read have. You are a remarkable author Cinder Blaze & I thank you generously for creating such a masterpiece.
