作者簡介

荒木健太郎　KENTARO ARAKI

雲學者，日本氣象廳氣象研究所研究官、學術博士。

1984年生於茨城縣，經歷慶應義塾大學經濟系，畢業於氣象廳氣象大學。於地方氣象台從事預報、觀測工作後至現職。專攻雲科學、氣象學。為了預防與降低氣象災害，致力於研究會引起豪雨、大雪、龍捲風等災害的雲朵形成機制與雲物理學。

著有《愛上雲的技術》（有方文化）、《全世界最棒的雲教室》、《雲裡發生了什麼事》、《積雨雲的一生》等書。新海誠導演《天氣之子》動畫電影氣象顧問。
