The concert bass drum offers great sound and durability for all players. The Nightwood black vertical grain covered finish gives the drum a durable and maintainable wood texture. This finish is applied to the thin birch shell, promoting impressive resonance and a powerful deep bass tone. With an extensive range of sizes available, the Concert Black series bass drum is ideal for school concert bands and ensembles to professional orchestras and recording percussionists.

Please note this drum does NOT include a stand. If you require a stand, a concert stand is supplied with the MCB Concert Black bass drum models or a field stand is supplied (in a limited range of sizes) with the MFCB Concert Black bass drum range.

About Majestic

Majestic is a brand of thoughtfully designed instruments for the professional, the educator, and today’s percussion student, utilising carefully constructed ideas born from both traditional percussion instrument heritage and a culture of innovation. The family firm was founded in 1921, supplying organs, pianos and wind instruments with the production of percussion following shortly after.

In 1960 the Majestic brand name was introduced, starting with drum kits which were prevalent among rock bands in the Netherlands. Orchestral and marching percussion soon became the corner stone of the brand, with timpani, marching drum and tuned percussion becoming areas of speciality for Majestic.

To this day product development, engineering, and production are overseen by family members and every model must adhere to stringent standards of craftsmanship and performance.

Please note: all large tuned percussion instruments such as xylophones, marimbas, and vibes etc. are delivered boxed and require assembly.

The thinnest ones only last for 5-10 minutes, but the thickest ones take 3-5 hours. The top end varies as it totally depends on the dogs' energy levels at the time.
