  • The HZ025 is COAST’s I-Safe Headlamp with six beam options for max versatility in Class 1, Div 1 hazardous environments. 
  • COAST combines a longstanding record of groundbreaking LED beam-shaping technology with Intrinsically Safe certification so that you can work with high-powered light even under the toughest, riskiest conditions. 
  • Users can toggle through spot beam, red beam, high and low flood beams, and high and low spot & flood beams. The headlamp has two switches to toggle through the modes and the light can tilt and adjust to different angles.
  • The HZ025 also has two strap options, one reflective cloth strap and a silicone strap for use on a hardhat. The top strap is removable and features an attached key to open or close/tighten the battery cavity.

Class 1, Division 1 is classified as the most volatile hazardous environment. Typical Class 1 environments are oil refineries, paint warehouses, offshore oil rigs, or spray booths.

This version doesn’t work
I used these 2 nights in a row. I was hoping Oracoat found a solution to the problem people like me have with the regular Xylimelts: irritation of gums. As others have noted the “sensitive” version doesn’t melt and the goo that remains can be difficult to remove. I didn’t have too much trouble after the first night. However, the second day after use, it was so hard to get the remains out, I wound up with a very sore spot from digging it out. I will toss the rest. It’s too bad this effort fizzled. I hope Oracoat will find a solution For sensitive mouths. In the b meantime, I will use the original for a few nights and then stop before repeating. The idea behind the original product is fantastic. Unfortunately this attempt to make it usable for people with sensitive mouths hasn’t worked. Please try again.

An improvement over the original product, but could be better
I had used the original Xylimelts a few years back for my night time very dry mouth. They worked very well, completely dissolving overnight, but they caused sores inside my cheeks. Recently I discovered this new version which was purported to be made without the offending ingredients. They don't work quite as well, as they don't completely dissolve, but so far haven't caused any irritation. My mouth isn't completely parched as it was without any product, so it is definitely better than nothing. There is a gel-like residue in the morning that needs to be scraped off the teeth. I think Oracoat has some more R & D to do.
