Beautiful, lush and at times deeply dark, 'Warp and Weft' captures the intensity of motherhood, love and violence. Primarily electric-guitar driven, it is a fever dream of an album and could well be Veirs' best work to date, building on the uniform praise and commercial success of 2010?s 'July Flame'. The recording of 'Warp and Weft' (a weaving term) was a community effort. Produced in Portland, Oregon in March 2013 by Veirs' longtime collaborator Tucker Martine, the album features Jim James (My Morning Jacket), KD Lang, Neko Case (The New Pornographers), Brian Blade and members of the Decemberists amongst many more. Veirs sings not only of mid-winter suns, white blossoming cherry trees and melting ice, but also suicide, gun violence and war. She weaves threads of old folk songs including 'Motherless Children' as well as stories of folk-art hero Howard Finster and jazz harpist Alice Coltrane. "I think of this record as a tapestry where disparate elements come together and are stronger and more lovely as a result," says Veirs. Veirs was eight months pregnant with her second child during the recording; she says her experience as a mother brought about some of the more beautiful and painful songs. "I'm haunted by the idea that something terrible could happen to my kids but that fear pushes me to embrace the moment. This record is an exploration of extremes - deep, dark suffering and intense, compassionate love. "

Best magnesium from the best supplement brand.
Thorne can do no wrong in my book. They just can’t. I take magnesium every night. Usually magnesium glycinate. However, I read that that can start to cause night sweats over overtime. So moving decent was kind of a trial to see if that stopped the issue. It did immediately. The bonus of the powder though is that I can have it in a little bit of cherry juice or a mocktail before I go to bed. The flavor is great, and I haven’t noticed any grittiness whatsoever. That’s sad, I drink a lot of protein drinks so it’s entirely possible. I’m used to grittiness. Since starting to take this, I’ve been sleeping just as well as I have with the magnesium glycinate. Perhaps even a little bit better because this is higher quality and I’m not getting the night sweats.

Simple Magnesium Powder That Is Easy Enough to Take
I just started taking this Magnesium Citrate powder, so it is too early to know if it will help with things like muscle support, heart health, bone health. Magnesium is an important mineral for the body and it plays a role in muscle function, nerve signaling, and overall balance, so I like the idea of adding it to my routine.
The citrus berry flavor is not too horrible, which is a pleasant surprise because some magnesium powders can taste pretty rough. This one is easy enough to drink without feeling like you have to force it down. I also like that it is third party certified and comes with a full sixty servings.
I will need more time to see if it makes a noticeable difference, but so far the experience has been simple and the taste is manageable.

2 months supply, tasty berry bubblegum flavor, no morning cramps.
I've been taking Magnesium supplements for a long time, usually in capsule form. Starting from about age 45 I kept getting these awful morning calf cramps. Especially stretching, or on cold morning. The sudden agony was unexpected and concerning. Magnesium is the answer and this water-soluble magnesium from Thorne is no exception.
For this particular problem, calf cramps. The results are noticable within a couple of days. If I stop taking magnesium for 3-5 days the cramps come back.
Thorne powder has a berry flavor that is very similar to bubble gum. It dissolves easily without leaving any lumps. Is great to help you take your other supplements. I've been taking this for about 3 weeks with no cramps. Price is a little higher than capsules typically are. This works for me and the tub should last two-months if you follow the directions.

Great Taste and Mixes in Water Well
I’ve been using this magnesium citrate powder for a little while now, and overall it’s been a positive experience. One of the standout aspects is how well it mixes. It dissolves easily in water with minimal residue, which makes it much more convenient compared to some other powdered supplements I’ve tried. The citrus berry flavor is also quite good: light, slightly sweet, and easy to drink without being overpowering. The powder format makes it simple to adjust how you take it (more or less water, etc.), and I didn’t notice any strong aftertaste.
