So far Fadoul (or Fadaul, or Faddoul, the transcription of his name to Latin letters differs)& his music had not been rediscovered, as a matter of fact most of those songs still left no trace whatsoever in the world wide web. It took us 2 years and countless trips to Morocco to find the artists family to license the release from them. Vinyl and CD edition come with liner notes, unseen live photos and lyrics translations. "There was one record in particular that caught my attention. It was by a band called "Fadaul et les Privileges" and mentioned James Brown in the writing credits of the song "Sid Redad" on the a-side. Needless to say my expectations were high. The first time I heard the record I was blown away. A cover of James Brown's "Papa got a brand new bag" sung in Arabic and backed by a rawly recorded three piece band. It's hard to describe the music without having listened to it, but as time went by I somehow ended up summarizing it as Arabic funk played with a punk attitude. A description, that I feel, comes fairly close. Soon I became obsessed by the record but nobody seemed to know anything about the vinyl or the artists, even Google didn't help. A true gem forgotten about through the passages of time. I kept on traveling to Morocco trying to find infos about the artists, which did not end up being fruitful during the first couple of trips. What kept me going was the fact that over the course of the next years I kept on finding different records by Fadoul, in the end a total of four. They all had the raw sound aesthetic of "Sid Redad". Energetic performances, a mighty voice and a very lively atmosphere that was preserved in the recordings. " "Sid Redad" has gotten plays on BBC, Radio Nova and more, our Habibi Funk mixes have been featured by The Guardian, Radio Nova, Waxpoetics, konbini. #fr and many more.

Excellent product and my dog loves it

I love these toys almost as much as my dog! It makes throwing a ball over and over much less straining on my shoulder and also allows me to pick the ball up without getting slobber all over me. Chuck-it products are high quality and they're the only ball I will buy now- it's my dog's favorite!

Ball launcher

Solid, Quality Construction at a Value

It's amazing how much fun my new puppy and I have been having with a single, vacuum-molded piece of plastic. I have a 4mo named Walter and getting a Chuckit® was always in the cards. 1: I didn't know how cheap they were, and 2: I didn't realize how much fun it makes fetch. Really small things like being able to pick up the ball with the Chuckit® without having to bend down was so surprising and makes fetch last longer for both of us.
Another tip is that I had watched videos where they say the throwing technique is sort of a punch, or whip action; where you sort of wind-up, throw, and then jerk your hand back (like cracking a whip). I started doing that and it was fine, and working without problems. But then I thought, "I'm just going to launch this with one continuous movement". And WOW what a difference. If you have the space (a big field, basically), you don't need to modify your throw to a punch or whip type movement. Just launch it like you're casting a fishing pole, and end your motion with the Chuckit® pointing directly at where you're trying to throw it. The ball naturally flies out at about a 45 degree angle. High and far. You don't need to overthink it. Additionally, if I'm in my backyard (fenced with neighbors all around) and I can't go high and far, I just side-arm it. And the ball releases on it's own. No need to whip.
Looking forward to my Pup growing up so we can play longer. Love this thing. Oh one more tip from my brother– he says a lacrosse ball fits perfectly in these things too if you have a dog that wants to destroy your tennis balls. Lacrosse balls are practically indestructible. Just make sure not to launch it on any surface that will bounce, or you'll never see it again.
I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. For the price, stop thinking about it, buy it, and go play with your dog!

Superior quality

We have 2 Australian Shepherds that never get tired. The launcher is able to trow the ball very far and very durable. Dogs love the ball and they were not able to destroy it yet. We are very happy with our purchase.

Fetch? Yes please!

Great for fetch. Small learning curve to release the ball where you want. Good size for my dog. Comes with a felt ball which is just stupid for fetch--gets so dirty. I like the color, my dog can see blue and she loves when I bring it out. I broke my first one, snapped the neck, but these work great, fine price. The amount of joy my dog gets from it is worth every penny.
