Pagodes is the deepest, most powerful work to date by a musician whose work has been described as like "Miles Davis, Massive Attack, John Martyn, Fink, and Radiohead wrapped up in one exquisitely produced sound." Several years of hard work making Pagodes has paid off in spades. It's an album that's difficult to turn away from, full of beautiful melody, futuristic production flourishes and lyrics that don't shy away from darkness, but always alight on uplifting conclusion. Opener 'This Idea of Us' is a smoldering torch ballad, it's string arrangement lending it gripping drama. Robert Wyatt's 'Age of Self' comes off as a song McCleery was born to sing, it's lyrical content as relevant today as it was 30 years ago. The album moves into infectious percussive swing and melodic loops with 'Ballade,' a song that could have come from the LA-jazz hotbed surrounding Flying Lotus. Pagodes marries all of this thrilling diversity via McCleery's existential musings and his startling voice and playing. It's unlikely you'll hear an album of such power from another singer songwriter anytime soon.

the lies

This is amazing fast pace read that is full of plot twists and lies that keep getting bad. This is a story we’re a omega has been lied to by her mother and finds out that someone is slowing dieing. 3 alpha take the omega and feed her more lies so they can use her against her father so they can find their mate Kelly. This is a dark read and ends in a cliffhanger and so good.

Hot twists

This will keep you on your toes toes in a hot twisty mess. You want to love, hate and root for whom is the big question. I’m quickly getting the next book because it ends on a cliffhanger and damn, it’s got me ready to tear into it!

Thankfully, the next book is already available.
Roxy Collins is the queen of omegaverse slow burn. This particular series is omegaverse with wolf shifters.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Lots of suspense and trying to figure out what is true and what's really going on. I loved it!
Pretty spicy once the action starts. Heats are pretty much always spicy. There is a little bit of male interaction, but not full-on shmex.
Definitely recommend.

Epic!!!!

Absolutely addicted from the first page. The twists and turns, world building and character development all come together for the perfect Omegaverse. And let's not forget that spice because knots are life and these are spectacular. Running for book #2 because that cliffhanger was torturous.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Jillian West and her books!!! I’m so happy I already bought book two and now I have to buy the others for the Assurance Security series!!
Not gonna lie Val kind of annoyed me at the beginning but she grew on me!! Her men are chef’s kisses!!! Holt annoys me some but I can let it slide. I already bought part two so I’m going to be reading that in between work phone calls!!!! DON’T TELL MY BOSS 😂😂😂😂
