Turmeric is poorly absorbed into the bloodstream and has low bioavailability in the body. To overcome these limitations, we’ve combined our high-potency turmeric with a powerful extract of black pepper: known as nature’s bio-enhancer. Studies suggest that piperine (a key compound found in black pepper fruit) can significantly boost blood levels of curcuminoids by nearly 2,000%! This simple spice combination is so effective at potentiating turmeric that it’s become the gold standard by which all turmerics (and all turmeric products) are measured.

the science of C3

The combination of Curcumin C3 Complex® + black pepper has been shown to increase blood levels of free curcumin (the active curcuminoid). Other competitors rely on bioavailability studies that measure curcumin metabolites (the glucuronide and sulfated metabolites of curcumin). There is no published data on the efficacy of these minor curcuminoid metabolites, which are pharmacologically inactive.*
