This is a humourous and touching account of an Everton fans' unexpected move abroad to Kenya. It is loaded with adventure and surprise. Football fans everywhere will relate to the need to 'get the result' no matter where they are in the world.

On Friday, 1 September 1989 Cliff Green boarded a plane from Heathrow to Nairobi to begin what he imagined to be a two year interlude to his teaching career in the UK.

He was 27 and had never lived overseas before. In all respects he was very much a 'homeboy' being immensely attached to the British culture notably pop music, English pubs, Coronation Street and, most significantly, Everton Football Club.

On 15 March 2011 he returned to England after more than two decades of teaching overseas in a journey that included Kenya, Bermuda and Uganda

There was also a personal journey of discovery and adventure loaded with humour and surprise and, while the pull of British culture diminished, the passion for Everton just grew and grew, no matter how difficult it may have been to 'get the result'.

About the Author

Cliff Green was born in Andover, Hampshire and he developed a love for football from an early age

He became besotted by Everton during the 1970 championship run-in idolising the Holy Trinity of Kendall, Harvey, Ball as well as his favourite centre-forward of all time, Joe Royle.

After a career as an accountant and a teacher, he left the UK and headed to Nairobi, where he spent his time teaching and trying to find out the Everton scores.

Works great, could use a better sprayer
Style: Kids SPF 50, Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I gave it 4 stars ONLY because I've had the nozzle break on at least 1 of these. So they could improve the way it sprays, but overall I'm very happy with the product. It keeps my whole family from getting burned and goes on clear. I love this because my kids always complain that they don't like the whitecast, so this one is a keeper!

Really nice sunscreen
Style: Kids SPF 50, Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I always buy kids sunscreen because everything else burns my eyes. I haven't notices this stuff burning. It smells really nice and doesn't feel yucky going on like some stuff does.

DOESNT SPRAY do not buy
Style: Kids SPF 50, Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Doesn’t work AT ALL. And I’m annoyed because it’s not eligible for return even with prime. What am I supposed to do with a sunscreen that won’t spray? YES, it’s in thru blocked position, it will not spray. I’d love my money back please.

Do NOT buy, it’s literal poison. Has forever chemicals.
Style: SPF 50 Spray Mineral Sunscreen, Size: 4.5 Ounce (1 Pack), Style: SPF 50 Spray Mineral Sunscreen, Size: 4.5 Ounce (1 Pack)
🚨do NOT buy this🚨It has forever chemicals in it - Tetrafluoropropene. Also has Hydrogenated polydecene - The chemical structure of synthetic hydrocarbons is similar to that of MOSH, another group of petrochemical-derived ingredients. A 2016 study states that "it seems prudent to assess their safety in the same way," suggesting that they could have comparable toxic effects on the body. MOSH may accumulate in the body, particularly in lymph nodes and body fat, where they could trigger inflammatory reactions. Liver effects have also been observed experimentally in certain types of rats, but have not been confirmed in humans to date. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommends continuing studies to better assess the toxicity of these MOSH compounds, as "the consequences of the long-term accumulation of MOSH on human health have not been evaluated and remain uncertain." These compounds should especially be avoided in products where there is a risk of ingestion, such as lip balms and lipsticks. Moreover, the production of this ingredient has a significant environmental impact due to the extraction of hydrocarbons from underground and the high energy consumption required for its manufacture. *5 stars only so people will see this.*
