From its headwaters on the southern slope of the Tennessee Valley divide near Dahlonega to its confluence with the Oostanaula to form the Coosa in Rome, the Etowah is a river full of interesting surprises. Paddle over Native American fish weirs and past the Etowah Indian Mounds, one of the most intact Mississippian Culture sites in the Southeast. See the quarter-mile tunnel created to divert the Etowah during Georgia's gold rush and the pilings from antebellum bridges burned in the Civil War. This guide offers all the information needed for even novice paddlers to feel comfortable jumping in a boat and heading downstream, including detailed, accurate maps; put in/take out and optimal river flow information; mile-by-mile points of interest; and an illustrated natural history guide to help identify animals and plants commonly seen in and around the river. A fishing primer offers tips to understand the habits of some of the many native fish species found in the Etowah, from trout in the river's upper reaches to bass and bream in the midsection and catfish and drum below Lake Allatoona. Along the way, river explorers will come to understand the threats facing this unique Georgia place, and the guide offers suggestions for how to take action to help protect the Etowah and keep its beauty and biodiversity safe for future explorers.

Features: an introduction and overview of the river chapters describing each river section with detailed maps and notes on river access and points of interest a compact natural history guide featuring species of interest found along Georgia's rivers notes on safety and boating etiquette a fishing primer notes on organizations working to protect the riverA Georgia River Network Guidebook

Great Quality and durability
Color: Ultra, Size: Large
I have a teething puppy and this is the only ball that has outlasted the rest!! Big chewer and still bounces and no tears! Keeps him entertained for hours!! Sturdy, solid, good quality and value!

Durable, even for a Great Dane!
Color: Ultra, Size: XXL
I've bought many tennis ball sized ChuckIt balls in the past (for medium sized dogs we've owned), so when we knew we were going to be babysitting our daughter's Great Dane, I bought a bigger one for her. The 4" is perfect for her! She plays catch with it, but also likes to gnaw on it. It holds up great!

Another great product from Chuckit!
Color: Ultra, Size: XL
Exactly the high quality that I've come to expect from Chuckit! The plastic/rubber used in their products is extremely tough yet gives enough that it's hard to actually pierce the it and tear apart. We have had Chuckit! Sticks and Balls with launcher for years and love them all. This particular ball is pretty big so my 45 pound pit mix struggles to pick it up but that's part of the fun for him. My 85 pound pit mix can pick it up no problem. The only "complaint" is that the two of them have been having so much fun with their new ball, they have already knocked something over and broke it. 😁

Perfect for my mid size pit bull
Color: Ultra, Size: XL
Updating my review, the ball only lasted 5 days. I left the 5 stars because we had enough fun those 5 days to be worth the small price. She has dog has a lot of jaw strength, so I’m not surprised We have a mid size foster pit bull. This ball is her favorite toy. It’s durable and the perfect size for her to play ball safely.

Good quality
Color: Ultra, Size: Large, Color: Ultra, Size: Large
Great quality. I purchased for my daughter’s dog who destroys all toys. This toy holds up. I didn’t realize it was a large and the chickit stick she had was a medium. The large ball ended up working out good for playing inside the house. The dog likes it a lot.
