The Eccotemp Mini Tank 7.0 water heater is the largest of Eccotemp's point-of-use mini tank water heaters. With a holding capacity of 7.0 Gal. the EM 7.0 is designed to supply hot water on demand to any faucet or sink without long hot water pipe runs. Perfect for under the counter and point-of-use applications, the EM-7.0 can meet all the hot water needs of hand wash and kitchen sinks, whether the environment is residential, commercial or industrial. The EM-7.0 can replace traditional central hot water heaters, conserving water and reducing energy waste. The EM-7.0 can also be plumbed in with the central water heater to act as a booster. This lightweight and compact mini tank heater has been specifically manufactured for easy installation. The EM 7.0 comes with installation hardware that enables it to be easily mounted on the wall, or it can be free-standing. It is designed to operate at 150 PSI maximum water pressure, so it is recommended that you install a pressure reducing valve if your water pressure is greater than 150 PSI.- Tank volume: 7.0 Gal.

Smaller than the original, but works well.
When I received it, it was so small that I thought it was a toy, or maybe for some 4cyl engine. It is significantly smaller than the original one. When I looked closer, the mount holes did line up, so I tried it. I did have to get shorter mount bolts.
To my surprise, it works great! I don't know what the longevity will be, but it made it through a busy august!
Considering the price and how small it is, I might just buy a second one to keep on board. Just in case.

Warning!!!
I was so impressed after install!! Fired right up faster that it ever has in the past, had the boat out about 8 times and CACK!!! They say they will stand behind the product and replace it, but do I risk another day ruined on the river?
