The story one of intrigue, art theft, and much beautiful rich folks' stuff. The Thomas Crown Affair was remade, successfully for a change, thirty years later with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. I am probably committing many vile crimes by saying I preferred the remake, mostly because of La Russo.
