The Bektashi Order is a branch of Sufism spread across the Anatolia region of Turkey and beyond. Because many of it's teachings differ from orthodox Islam, Bektashi was kept secret by it's followers. This album reveals Bektashi traditions through the ashiks ("lovers"), traveling poet-musicians who perform in the name of the divine.Their songs, called nefes ("breaths of inspiration"), are improvisations on the saz lute, revolving around themes of eternity, the ephemeral world, and the love of God. The melodies never overpower the lyrics because the Bektashi believe the strength of the syllables gives life to the music. Through these songs, ashiks promote oral tradition, communal values, and cultural heritage.Renowned Turkish musician Kudsi Ergüner recorded the album and contributed to the liner notes, which include full English and French translations of each song.This album is part of the UNESCO Collection of Traditional Music. More than 125 albums are being released by Smithsonian Folkways Recordings to make the series publicly available, including a dozen never-released albums of musical traditions from around the globe.

I am pleased with mower. Easy to put together and handle

I have used this mower twice and so far am very pleased. It is light weight and will mow my small front and back yard with leaving 40% left on battery. I did have a scare last time I used because mower stopped on fully charged batteries and I discovered the safety key came loose and was able to put back in and finish. In my opinion the key could fit a bit more snug

So far, so good!

I received the mower quickly and on time. It was in great shape coming out of the box, and the minor assembly required was easy and well spelled out. I fully charged the batteries before trying out the mower. Setting to deck level 3, I was able to cut my back yard easily and completely which took me about 30-35 minutes. There was still significant charge in the batteries. For a small to medium yard, as in my case cutting the front one week and the back the next, this mower works great!

Nice and lightweight. Very simple to put together. ok for small yard. Mostly all plastic . Works fine out of the box ,but I don't expect it to last. Small blades. Not good for tough weeds.

Best sub $150 electric mower
Color: 15-Inch
Well built, packaged, and easy to assemble. Bought for a smaller lawn and does the job in a few passes. The raising and lowering handle is much more convenient then moving wheels up and down like similar models which makes adjusting height super quick. Has plenty of power to mow an average lawn. Can't speak about huge weeds or small plants if you let your yard get away from you. The power switch is very light to operate so hopefully it lasts. So far I am happy with it's purchase. The only reason I'm giving it a 1 star deduction is pulling it backwards it seems to get caught near the grass catcher which requires you pull up on the handle lifting the back wheels if you need to go backwards more than a few inches. Not sure if this happens when you raise it to full height. Will revisit if things get better or worse.

Gets the job done for a small lawn
I have a smaller yard, and this works GREAT!!! I have used it several times now. I do not use the bag because my municipality doesn't pick up yard clippings more than once a year. I mow every 7 to 10 days on a middle setting. The only thing that I can complain about is that it doesn't work well if pulling it in reverse. It still cuts fine, but the rubber flap that keeps the grass from flying back at you is a bit long if you want to be able to pull the mower. It can be removed easily if you choose to, but I would at least recommend wearing eye protection if you take it off since it is there for a reason. It maneuvers easily and gets very close to the edges, so I have not had to weed whack at all! It is a light mower and easy to use. Basic maintenance like keeping it covered or in a dry spot when not in use and flipping it to the side to clean the debris from under it after use, and you should have a good mower for a long time. That being said... I DID get the 3-year warranty on it. I know from a past experience with a different company that electric corded mowers are VERY hard to get serviced, so if anything goes wrong, you basically have to replace it. At least this way, my investment will be guaranteed to last several years.
