People Like Us is audiovisual collage artist Vicki Bennett, who has been making work available via CD, DVD and vinyl releases, radio broadcasts, performances, gallery exhibits, and online streaming for 25 years. Since 1992, she has developed an immediately recognizable aesthetic repurposing pre-existing footage to craft audio and video collages with an equally dark and witty take on popular culture. She sees sampling and appropriation as folk art sourced from the palette of contemporary media and technology, with the sharing and cross-referencing incumbent to a populist form. Abridged Too Far is the first of a series of vinyl by Discrepant to celebrate this being the 25th year of People Like Us publishing albums. Abridged Too Far was first released in digitally in 2004 exclusively for UbuWeb, this album includes Vicki's session for John Peel and performances for WFMU, amongst others, from 2003. Very good Bible Study.
Format: Hardcover
I cannot say enough about this book. If you do the readings and assignments it will change your life.
I never expected to learn so much. When I hear someone make a reference to a particular character or event in the Bible, I am usually familiar with it.
I really feel like I have gained a better understanding of God and what he wants from us. I want to know more.
I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who is seriously interested in learning about our place in God’s Creation.
I hope that someone might be able to tell me where to go from here in my journey of discovery.

Awesome Book
Format: Hardcover
This book is enlightening and insightful. It is a Big Picture view of the Bible and shows you how everything ties together in a beautiful picture of the unfailing love God. I have purchased several to give to others and I am currently using it to teach a Lay Pastor class and a small group. A recommended read for everyone.

Great overview!
