The Pitch is a Berlin-based quartet that explores the area between abstract melody and acoustic drone. Since 2009 they have been developing a musical language and a body of work ranging from quartet music to extended, large-scale ensemble pieces involving guest musicians and further conceptual elements. Improvisation is an important element in their music and it is used as a generative device within specific shapes, structures, and ideas for different pieces of music. Their piece Frozen Orchestra focuses on slowly changing textures, pitch-set constellations, and the subtle blending of instruments. Frozen Orchestra (Amsterdam) was recorded live at the Sonic Acts Festival and features six additional musicians in addition to the four core members. Boris Baltschun: electric pump organ; Koen Nutters: bass; Morten J. Olsen: vibraphone; Michael Thieke: clarinet. Featuring Lucio Capece: bass clarinet; Johnny Chang: violin; Robin Hayward: tuba; Chris Heenan: contrabass clarinet; Okkyung Lee: cello; Valerio Tricoli: Revox.

Dogs new favorite chew!
Awesome chew...my dog loves these and sits there licking the peanut butter for awhile before even starting to chew! So far its lasting longer than other chews I give him. They don't smell bad, no upset stomach and good ingredients. Highly recommend!

Short lived - lasts only a few minutes with our Golden's. I have used other products like Natural Pet collagen rolls which last a VERY long time with our voracious chewers.

Massive treats, no tummy rumbles, but a little pricey
I'm always a little tentative when ordering dog treats online, because you don't always know in advance where they're sourced from, or what weird processing might be done to them, or what weird additives might be thrown in. These are sourced in Mexico, and they seem to be straightforward in terms of ingredients. Phew!
The smell of these is not the best, but if you've fed your dog collagen treats before, I'm sure you know what you're getting into with that. The dogs loved them, for sure. These treats are MASSIVE, so if you have a small or medium sized dog, you might want to cut them into two or more pieces. For my 60ish pound dogs, they were very large but manageable, and the way their eyes lit up when I presented it to them, it was like Christmas. LOL
The only reason I'm docking a star is because these are not long-term chews, at least for my dogs. Yak chews will generally last for a couple of hours for them, which I break up over several days by taking the treat away after a while and giving it back to them the next day. These chews were gone within about 5-10 minutes. (Five minutes for my spazzy dog who acts like treats will disappear if they're not hoovered it into her gullet at breakneck speed, and ten minutes for the other who likes to taste his food on the way down.) At almost $6 a pop, these are pretty expensive for 5-10 minutes of enjoyment, so this isn't going to be a treat I buy for them on the regular.
There were no issues with tummy rumbles or nausea or diarrhea afterward, so that's good. And I like getting a little more collagen in these kids because they're both getting up there in age, so their hips and joints can use a little extra love. If you've got the extra money to spring for these, or if your dog paces him- or herself reasonably with dog treats, this could be a good choice for you.
