Lupin pink and purple merino nylon four ply mini set

These are mini sets of 5 x 20g skeins of Merino Nylon yarn, my Acorn base. All my bases are named after parts of plants and trees. Therefore the set totals 100g. Lupin is a set made up of pink, two shades of mauve, one mauve and pink marbled and one pink variegated 20g skein.

It is 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon, Four ply 100g Skein Approx. 425m

This is a very soft and versatile workhorse yarn. The nylon content makes it strong so it can be used for a huge range of items; socks, shawls, sweaters, hats and gloves.

It has been hand dyed by me in my studio with logwood and cochineal.

Dye lot Lupin

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain. A little may come off when knitting but this will quickly settle down.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
